Re: Potter Sacked!
We all have different views about potential managers etc.
I just hope that, whoever comes in, he can tighten up this poor side, grind out some results and restore a bit of pride and confidence among the fans.
The backdrop at the club - Sullivan and Brady’s obscenely poor stewardship - will remain for now. So, it won’t be easy for anybody. But hopefully the team, manager, players and fans can unite.
If it’s Nuno, so be it. I hope he rips it up. Because he’ll be our manager.

Re: Potter Sacked!
For more than two weeks our owners, the media and Potter too knew he was a dead duck. So the question is why now, what has brought this to a head such that he is dismissed at almost the eleventh hour prior to a game he has prepared the team for and after the pre match presser?

im hoping the timing means the new manager is able to take over for Monday. which was the only reason for it being done now.
will be very interesting what happens to JWP, Kilman and Hermansen etc. I don’t think Nuno (I gather it’s him) will fuck about with who he thinks is working and who isn’t.

Have to agree he's made his own problems to a large extent. He had a slightly shitty hand from Sullivan (don't they all?) but he did not play the cards he did have in the best way ay all with his team selections particularly with midfield and strikers.
JWP surely cast out
Kilman- well I don't know how much choice Nuno or any manager has with that albatross. Maybe Todibo gets a chance under Nuno. It's a shit show in that position (see the shitty hand comment above)
Hermansen- to be fair he might look a bit better not being hung out to dry by the catastrophic defending of crosses and set pieces. Putting Areola in didn't change anything in that respect really. But we might have to face the fact that he's another dud purchase and just the latest in a long fucking line of them- only difference is this one cannot be hung on Sullivan's neck for once.

Indeed ag, ag, ag !!
I hope Nuno improves things and you would think that cannot be that hard but he’s not got the squad options he had at Forest in terms of pace and athletes especially in the biggest problem area that remains at West Ham which is central midfield. Lets hope he can get Kilman playing better as he did at Wolves and hopefully we wont be seeing JWP and Soucek starting in midfield. Tommy has a role but its not as a central midfield starter.
Word of caution, West Ham has seen off managers like Pellegrini, BFS , Moyes and Loppy recently and edsome of them came from successful stints elsewhere. Only Moyes enjoyed an 18 months of good league form so Nuno is no guarantee of better times. That said, I hope he can get this squad to deliver far better results or we’re well and truly fvcked

Re: Potter Sacked!
I don't see her lasting for very luch longer and I think that will be also her and her dickhead husbands wish as well. I don't think you can get any bigger face saving sunglasses to cover her obvious embarrassment she feels about it all from Potter to the shambolic Stadium she's lumbered us with. Tuesday morning wouldn't surprise me after a heavy defeat.
You know who I feel immediately sorry for? All those travelling Hammers up to Evertons new Stadium who will have to be put through torture at a real cost to them. That's how irresponsible and shows how much BS Regime don't care about the fans.
Hopefully they give the Board a fantastic warm welcome in the Away End at least. Typical West Ham gallows humour also helps at rock bottom times likes these.

Re: Potter Sacked!
From the Beeb:
West Ham are set to appoint former Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo after sacking head coach Graham Potter.
Portuguese Nuno is expected to be in place before Monday's match against Everton, saying he has had positive talks with the West Ham board.

Geez, I did say the Club is probably working on creating a Sullivan A.I. version with all the money he's made out of the Club. They'll install the final element with a piece of his tiny manky brain being inserted in to a chip using a McDonalds straw he used for his last ever Happy Meal, so to give it that authentic braindead Sullivan feel just as soon as he finally pops his clogs...
Oh god that would be awful. Or a head in a jar like Futurama. For EVER.....

Re: Potter Sacked!
Actually I wonder if this social media Potter face thing was the just final straw for both him and the club. That might explain the weird timing.
If so can somebody please start doing the same thing with Sullivan and Brady’s faces?
I can think of a fair few duos who would work quite well for starters

Macaulay isn't a coach. Where have you read he's gone?
Edit - Just seen the rumours that he's meant to go also.

Re: Potter Sacked!
Nah he's been binned too. Most of the coaches have been fucked off as well. Nuno has quite a large entourage so they needed to make room.
Re: Potter Sacked!
Don't think he needs to take Ward - Prowse, if Nuno comes in. He barely played Ward Prowse, when he was at Forest.
