Re: Nuno Out
Not sure what people want
he’s tossed the worst player out the squad, he’s giving the youth players a chance
we’ve got a shit squad because of the Sullivan, Steidten, Lopetegui and Potter combo
the central defence and striker situations weren’t addressed, and on top of that, the majority of these players have had 9 months of coaching by Potter, that’s a fucking traumatic experience that’s gonna take time for them to remember how to play football the proper way

Glasner is a fantastic manager but i've never been able to get over how much he looks and moves like a marionette.

Even after beating us in the Europa League to then go on to win it with Frankfurt, we still couldn't see the quality of the man out of work biding his time.I get your point..... But can you guarantee that Glasner would've succeeded under Sullivan? I doubt fucking Guardiola would success under Sullivan.
No guarantees in Football. What I do know though is he's an extremely shit hot Manager who has proven it all the time how good he is. If he couldn't then not many else who who could and not a reason not to go for him.

Sorry Pep, I think that Haaland kid is too much of a risk for the money. Not sure he'd score goals in England. I'd much rather we went with someone who has a lot of solid premier league experience. Here- I've signed you Danny Ings instead. You're welcome.
As for this Rodri bloke, I don't think so. Never heard of him. Jonjo Shelvey is available on a free though. Hold on, I'll ring his agent.
Txiki Begiristain? Never heard of him. Director of Football you say? What's he meant to have done? Sounds a funny sort of job. We're not making movies here unless it's about the Krays. Good East End boys them. No don't worry son, I can do whatever that bloke could do and save us a couple of million quid a year.
Training ground improvements? Don't be silly. You're starting to annoy me now. Don't make me pick up the phone to my mate Hugh...

I did wonder if his name translates to Nuno the holy spirit. That might be what it takes to turn this club around.

Re: Nuno Out
Not many managers outside the top 4 stick around for that long in the Prem. If any of them do well, they get snapped up, if they don't, they get the bullet. If we have him for 3 years, that means something has gone right along the way.
If he has up set up with a low block (men behind the ball in old money) but we play fast counter attacking football that mostly works, and don't get mugged off losing 0-6 to Arsenal at home and the like, I'll be happy enough with that. He said in his interview he wants to give the opposition hell, I'll have a bit of that.
I'm just really hoping it's not turgid. The last 2 years of Moyes in the league were as bad as under Potter to watch, surely it will improve.

That's where I'm at. Clear improvement on Potter but not convinced he's the answer for the long term. For 1 good reason his record for sticking around in jobs is shocking. Wolves for 3 years was his longest in a job but mostly it's about 1/1.5 years in charge of a Club and he's had 7.
He also enters a crisis Club that sacks them after half a year now with the Owners under severe pressure to sell up themselves and fuck off. Not exactly a stable environment for anyone to work in, it couldn't be much worse to be honest. No wonder Nuno demanded a guaranteed lucrative 3 year contract.... Clever.

Re: Nuno Out
I hope Nuno has gone to watch the U21's in the last week or one of his support staff have,he would have seen how good Earthy and Marshall really are. He would have also seen the 1st team and seen how bad they have been especially in midfield and the back 4. He should then be able to see that Marshall is a better option than Fulkrug or Wilson from the start , Then see that Potts can play instead of JWP.
