A week is a long time in politics but here’s my take.

Labour are and always will be ideological at heart. This means they cant respond to the actual desires and fears of their historic supporters/voters who’s number one priority is to reverse immigration in all its various guises. 

Reforms are responding to the core requests and communicating them on Tik Tok. This is completely bypassing normal and historic communication channels. 

if Reform learn anything from Trump its to have a whirlwind of policy announcements constantly twisting and turning so opposition cant keep up. 

the barrier to Reform succeeding is the left classes in the civil service, unions and any corporations looking for government money but not receiving it. 

Reform should win the next election but making anything work will be hard. My feeling is making local government work might be a good start.

I'd agree with all of that except that I feel a win at the next election is a win too early for Reform.

It seriously needs the fuckwits currently in charge to steam through parliament all their dogshit - or ideological, as you more diplomatically phrase it - policies.

Meanwhile, back in the Batshit Cave, Starmer enthusiastically acknowledges how badly he and his party have read the room regarding to what the people/voters want for their own country.

If Farage has any sense, he'll start publishing costings alongside all/any of his policy proposals.

Sure it will scare a few potential voters off, but it will force the traditional political movers & shakers to do similar or face accusations of them either not knowing or having something to hide...

Think the biggest issue with vaccines is your right to choose without being discriminated against if you choose not too! All that shit with Covid and having to show proof (here in Oz, expect UK was the same) you had been vaccinated just to get into restaurants, pubs or even go to work etc was a disgrace and rightly needed pushing back against, i chose to have the jabs as believed in the science but in many ways had no choice either as my employer at the time made it mandatory with government approval, that's fucked
