International Break Yawn Fest
So here we are with another International Football yawn-fest.
What will you do for the next 14 days while meaningful football shuts down? In some ways two weeks downtime will be a nice break from the current West Ham circus.
When we get back...the next 5 games will likely define the whole season.

FAUX
Watched the first 30 minutes and it bored me,both teams.
How Marshall doesn't get in that line up is incredible.
The front player can't trap a bag of cement and has no pace. Can't press and the midfield lacks everything to press or harrie, only option is a set piece and they all seem to have been watching JWP.

5.0 to the stones at half time but ended 5.1 so you could say the seasiders won the second half 1.0
About 300 of them travelled and to be fair made some noise with renditions of living in an oyster wonderland and a few other interesting and improvised songs.
It's a pity it wasn't at there place as it would of been lovely down by the sea in the sunshine.
.
I live 5 minutes walk from Dulwich Hamlet. Whitstable won 3-2 in the last round with Dulwich still 2-0 up at home after 65 minutes![]()
I do enjoy non-league football... it's always a good laugh wherever I go...which usually involves Dulwich.
We've crossed swords with Wealdstone many times over the years but it's always been a laugh after the long schlep to Ruislip. You really do feel every stop on the tube in that part of the city... it's highly noticeable. A bit like getting the Overground to Watford High Street.
Ive been to Dulwich hamlet a few times and always enjoy the day out although like you say a long schlep across London.
On game that sticks in the mond was back in the Ryman days when Glen Little playing for stones ran from his own half beating three or four players before chipping the keeper.
He was well in his thirties at the time and it seemed like it was in slow motion but it was nominated for the greatest non league goal ever which was way over the top.
We went on to win the league that year

It's a very broad church...there are a few knobheads but generally I find it the kind of place that has it's heart in the right place.
Me and my group of pals are about half a dozen and we've been going regularly for about 20 years. If anybody objects to our good natured, gregarious nature we politely remind them that a good attendance once amounted to about 300 people and countless times we've all volunteered to put a shift in when there literally wasn't a pot left to piss in. Although it's called Dulwich it's always been people living from the surrounding areas of SE London that kept the club going through some very thin times.
Recently it's been the norm to regularly surpass the 3,000+ attendance mark so although the new money that has discovered the leafier parts of South London are very welcome when they get bored I'll probably still be here along with all the others...if they haven't snuffed it

How's that Wealdstone Raider coming along?
He is rarely spotted down there these days as he doesn't get on too well with some of the board.
He still has his hangers on who bother him from snaps in the pub and does the odd PA still whilst also working for Orbital fasteners.
He isn't everyone's cup of tea for sure but has certainly raised his fair share for charity.

Serbia losing at home to Albania means that if England beat Latvia (who drew with Andorra yesterday) they qualify for the World Cup with 2 games to spare.

Hats off to Swindon Supermarine, very tidy little ground, sun breaking through, and an orchestral version of the theme to the Big Match playing.

Yep, the burnt out motor has all been cleared up now, that was deliberate by someone with a grievance with the club.
am looking forward to the glamour away game later this season.

Re: International Break Yawn Fest
I remember the farm holding my local club (Wealdstone) to a goalless draw in the fa cup a few years back although we won the replay.
Have they moved the burnt out motor from the goalmouth yet ?
I must admit seeing those pictures reminded me of playing Sunday league.
Wilkinson is an ex stones manager known for his somewhat defensive and rambling post match interviews.

Is anybody surprised that Fullkrug is crocked yet again?
The guy’s shadow gets injured following him around.
Absolutely diabolical signing.

Re: International Break Yawn Fest
I actually view his predicted injury as a positive for us so we don't have to put up with witnessing any more shocking performances from him for a while and gives the other 2 a real chance to stake their claim now. Wilson was always the better Striker out the two in England in any case. Useless cսnt aint scored or assisted in his previous 12 appearances in a row he's that allergic to goals at our Club.
The Carthorse needs sending to the knackers yard so to be put out of his misery once and for all.
