I’m amazed by the people on here slagging off the players where the main fault is the negative tactics for our Jurassic park man manager. at one point today Johnson was our only player getting in the box . Also did anyone else see Rice kissing the Arsenal badge after one of there goals.

"No way was Alvarez the worst on the pitch. His issue is he cannot avoid getting himself booked. If you honestly think he was worse than the two Czech’s, Zouma, Aguerd, Ward-Prowse, Johnson you watched the wrong first half. That’s not to say he was good. Probably a 4 or 5. The others not even 1."

Alvarez was booked because he was actually trying to chase players down and make a tackle. Mainly because he had multiple men to mark as Soucek played his normal TOTEM POLE role as if he has his feet nailed into the turf. Doesnt help that Zouma with his gammy knee is finished but is trying to play when he cant move. And when he ends up with the ball he launches it into a wide expanse of grass or to an opposition player.

"Alvarez was fucking dire, weak and feeble along with Zouma the worse players on the pitch in the first half would have been ten if they weren’t hooked ."

"Alvarez wasnt any worse than the others but he was moody and picked up an early booking. With his record on bookings and Arsenal rampant fair chance he’d have been sent off second half, so wise to sub him and give Philipps some game time."

"Thx lowlife Painful having to relive any part of the game. I saw Alvarez got subbed at HT. I assume he was the worst of the worse along with Zouma? I ask because he kept Soucek on, the slowest non footballing player in the league. Was Soucek better than usual? 0-4 down you need to keep Alvarez on surely as he can play but perhaps he was dreadful?"

Also watching Villa and they are everything we are not. Even if they go on to lose this game they've been by far the better side since I've been watching.

"People like Scholes and Ferdinand have NO IDEA what it's like being a football fan, still less a West Ham fan, and they should keep quiet. I stayed to the end but don't blame those who didn't. I was just interested to see how bad it could get. I'd love to have won, or today even drawn, but if we're going to lose, I'm at the stage where I want us to lose badly, just in the (perhaps forlorn) hope that it will hasten Moyes' departure. Incidentally, I've never seen so many half and half scarves as I did today, people who clearly don't care who wins. No wonder the atmosphere is often so poor."

"Watching Villa with envy. Alf - no players got more than 5, I doubt any were more than 3. They were shit, but when Moyes sets up with 9 defensive players there’s not really much they can do. Any flair players are immediately on the back foot and not allowed to play their natural game. It was pitiful from start to finish. 10% of the ball in the opening 15 minutes."

"First game Ive missed in a long while as er indoors had set up a Sunday lunch with friends for 2pm. As many on here have said, this was coming. Fulham should have got 10 at their placebut on home turf its embarassing. Will it get Sullivan and / or Steidten to realise a change is needed? Were we pressed and dispossessed? And assume their movement and pace too much for our pedestrian team Anyone have the energy to put down ratings? No pkayer above a 5 ?"

"The way we’ve beaten Chelsea, spurs, Burnley and.Arsenal this season were absolute daylight robberies of results. To the casual observer we’ve done well, but when you watch it week in and out this result hasn’t surprised too many. The luck and form have dried up and we’re now regressing to the team of last season. Thank god we’ve enough points in the board to be safe but please Sullivan it’s time for a change,"

I'm also sick and tired of being told by fans of other clubs that I don't know how lucky I am to have Moyes as manager If they had to sit through shit Moyesball performances every week they would soon change there opinion.

The result and performance today has been coming down the tracks for a while if you look at recent games. Knocked out of both cups without piss poor performances and team selection and a total failure to strengthen in key areas. I still think we need another two decent mobile centre backs and a mobile centre forward who can also hold the ball up. Moyes and the board are negligent in not maintaining the squad but instead rely on ageing injury prone players in key areas and trying to put square pegs in round holes by playing wingers up front or central midfielders and full backs as wingers.

"Merson “That wasn’t a David Moyes team today” That's exactly what you get from a Moyes team these days! Said earlier it's been coming and have narrowly avoided similar this season due to the oppositions inability to finish. Don't know what Moyes buddies in the media see unless it's based on one Cup win and stats, although not sure what stats are showing apart from less than 20% possession and two touches in the opposition area! What other PL manager would play a part time right back in an attacking (in the loosest sense of the word) left sided role? What other manager would take Bowen out of his most effective position and shove him up front where he offers little in this set up? (Not Bowen's fault) What manager wouldn't notice that Zouma is fucked? He has all the traits of a bloke with arthritic hips and I should know, he just can't move. What other manager plays Soucek a midfielder who does nothing these days but score the odd goal. The same Soucek, all six foot three of him who at a corner was marking the near post? The list of tactical howlers is endless, at any other club he would be gone."

I loved the tactical switch at half time. A CB for a different CB and aDM for another DM. That really changed our tactics. Then to make sure a bit later on taking off a LB for a different LB really changed everything. What a tactical genius!!!

"It's a mistake to think the media are Moyes' 'mates' - they are not. They simply big him up because they know that good old West Ham will never be a real threat as long as he is here, fecking about and dithering. It suits their Top 4 agenda. I've started saving my money from today - I've made the decision not to attend from hereon in because I don't believe in Moyes, I don't believe in what he is doing (not doing) with the players at his disposal, and I don't think there is any remote chance that is going to change. The thought that he will have a new contract and end up staying is SICKENING; it is astounding that so many of us can see the massive black hole the club is slipping into under this man, and yet Sullivan would still rather go for the cheap option than do the right thing. And of course, Moyes does as he is told... that is a big reason why Sullivan would prefer to keep him... and it's because Moyes knows he has shot his bolt and the only way he'll keep getting a decent pay-day is if he can engineer his survival at WHU. WHAT a fucking mess, as ever."

"I said in the January window that the best signing we could get was getting Moyes P45 paperwork done. Today has been coming for a long while, we were lucky to get nil."
