Re: Nuno Out
Some are praising Crack Head for putting Potts and Fernandes in the team.
Not me, Crack Head must be feeling a clown now and wondering why he left these two out.
Didn't like his bench, 4 defensive midfielders and no striker on the bench when it's clear to see Wilson can't last 45 mins.
Defensive subs were lucky it didn't back fire.Newcastle out of sorts and have played a lot of high energy games.
Earthy and Marshall have to be utilised against Burnley. We will have more of the ball and have to attack more. Not defend deep.
I'll praise Crack Head when he has won 3 in a row.

Re: Nuno Out
Let's hope this clown actually picks our strongest starting eleven today, picks players in their proper positions and picks a proper striker after his last two abominations of team selections.
It's not much to ask of a football manager on a multi-million pound contract, is it.

Re: Nuno Out
What I want to see more than anything tomorrow Nuno is more experimenting, you wacky sabotaging cսnt.

Left Backs at Right Back
Right Backs at Left Back
Left Backs on the Left Wing
Our weakest central Midfield partnership
Fernandes as a No. 10
Our totally out of form Midfielder as our Striker
Keeping our best Senior Striker on the bench
Bringing back 4-4-2
I fucking love that shit.

Re: Nuno Out
I think Nuno is trying to boost his ego to get him to be more responsible. Paq’s problem is he has all the skill but doesn’t have the discipline to be one of the best in the world.
And that’s a shame really.
I feel Nuno is saying a 10 is a Maradona or a Messi, someone you don’t need to restrict because they have the footballing brain to go along with the skill. How many times did anyone see Messi get pickpocketed on the ball? He knew when to pass and when to run etc , it wasn’t just skill. The best players have that discipline. One of the reason Rice was so good is he hardly ever lost the ball, always knew when to pass and when to move.
Paq just needs to stop having “fun” sometimes and discipline himself.

In that role he's a link man that plays somewhere between the defender midfielders and forwards - not good enough to protect the defence but he's not a natural number 10 either because he just isn't creative enough. Basically a Mark Noble that cost £50M quid.
He always tries to force an opening that just isn't there whereas a proper number 10 can read the game - something just clicks in their head when they detect a sliver of space they can thread a ball through. Lanzini was a proper 10 but very injury prone. There have been others.
That's it - There ain't no mystery
he needs players ahead of him, targets to pick out. most of the time when he's advanced up the pitch we're either playing without a forward, or bowen is drifting out to the right. in the games against that french team playing behind a lone striker, he was anonymous and completely cancelled out by declan

Re: Nuno Out
Listening to his press conference he seemed to say:
I saw some shit things in the 1st 2 games.
Thought about doing something radical to fix it
head got turned in international break because I started seeing squad members I don’t normally think about at training so got carried away with how good they actually are
Found out that they are actually shit but needed to see it for myself. Doubled down just to make sure they really are shit.
won’t be going down that particular road again
Thats my take. We don’t technically have players good enough to just do radically different tactics at this level. He also alluded to the fact that there are players that look good in training but that’s not that same as in a competitive match
looking at what’s happened with him it looks like he’s not gone completely mad but has been way too optimistic. We know a lot of our players are shit, we see it every week. So our results against Everton and Arsenal seemed positive and something to build on. He just looked at that way differently than we did.
I just hope he really has given his head a wobble and he realises this is a proper battle here. We have unfit and completely tactically unaware players that have been like this for years.

Re: Nuno Out
Nuno like Potter and Moyes initially, think Paquera is a no 10. He’s not. He had a poor season or so in Italy in that role but ressurected his form at lyon as a deeper lying no 8. Same for the national team. Moyes played him deeper eventually many times out left to link with Emerson. He is not good with his back to goal, does not possess the speed to play on the half turn and is a huge risk to turn it over or waste it if closed down quickly. Deeper he gets a little more time he needs and can get his head up. Still can be a risk but pkayed in a midfield 3 gives some mitigation. He can actually tackle quite well and compete physically in the deeper midfield and less diving when challenged from behind. Imho
Nuno making the same mistakes. Dont they go vack and watch videis or gave dineine watch videos of all our fes for the last few seasons. Its obvious he sint sn effective no 10 in the PL. Fernandes has more mobility for it

No hope Nuno the numpty seems like yet another div manager who will refuse to drop the showboating, diving Brazilian despite him being awful for the last two seasons.

Re: Nuno Out
The manager situation is all Sullivan's fault. When you have a policy of never paying compensation for a manager you are always picking from a pool of unemployed managers. This will always put you on the back foot because you are selecting from a pool of managers that are unemployed because they are not very good and have been sacked or nobody wants to employ them. Now, from time time, you can get lucky and if timing is right you can pull off a coup. But that hardly ever happens.
After our Euro success and when things when stale with Moyes, that was the time to go and hit a club with an offer they can't refuse for a top manager. At the time perhaps Eddie Howe? I know we flirted with Amorim but Sulli refused to pay £8m compo for him. Amorim has had a tough time at Utd but looks like he may have turned the ship and I think we can all agree that the likelihood of us being in a better place right now if we had employed Amorim is extremely high.

This x100. It's got everything to do with him. Everything has his stench all over it. he's chosen or approved all of them.

Re: Nuno Out
Crack Head has no logic about his selections apart from his first game.
Kept it simple and even brought on Potts on the hour. We scored soon after and could have taken 3 points if he had then not had a spoonful keeping Fulkrug on until the 94th bleedin minute. He was fucked and this could have contributed to his body breaking down once again.
He was so negative against Arsenal that a defeat was inevitable.
I'm having a go as it seems Nuno has had 4 games and wasted them.
Potter did this too. This has nothing to do with Sullivan if our managers are so inept and useless. What do they watch whilst waiting to be remployed. Nuno knew he would be the leading candidate once he left Forest.THE CRACK HEAD was probably getting a fix whilst counting his millions.

Re: Nuno Out
The team that ended the Leeds game, showed that is was capable of getting something out of that game. Wilson will get chances, and score, if he’s given the opportunity too, like against Forest. Any pressure Nuno might now feel, is of his own doing.
