FA Cup Draw - 3rd Round (Monday 8 December)
Re: FA Cup Draw - 3rd Round (Monday 8 December)
Went over there about 30 years ago for a game. We Lost 2-1, but it flattered us, we were well beaten after about half an hour, ferdinand and sinclair in their prime.
I was a bit late getting to white city for the tube home and the platforms were completely deserted. All quiet. Then a lot of feedback and rustling sounds came over the tannoy and a couple of herberts started belting out bubbles, followed by an indian voice shouting get out what are you doing, youre not allowed in here. More feedback noises, a bit of chim chiminey and what sounded like a tug of war over the microphone followed by silence. I was giggling to myself for about a week after. I told the story to my old man, who was seriously ill in hospital at the time he was laughing so much he had a bad turn, we had to call the nurse over.

Re: FA Cup Draw - 3rd Round (Monday 8 December)
i think it was only the 2nd game I went to in the FA cup athe Boleyn and we drew 0-0. Replay during the week was a disaster 5-1 defeat. I was far too young to go there. I thnk we even scored first. The pitch was anud bath there. I guess that's why they got the plastic pitch.
Was in front the goal in the away end at Loftus road when Frankie Mac scored in a 0-1 win in 85/86.

We’re a brilliant team then, Bowles was a magician, Givens quality. Was it Thomas who was the winger?

Whatever happened to Hogan Ephraim? I remember a lot of people getting very excited about him as a youth player and someone came on here and swore that he would end up playing for England. Never made the breakthrough here and went to QPR and disappeared...

Re: FA Cup Draw - 3rd Round (Monday 8 December)
I've got a lot of mates who are QPR and Lotus road was the first ground I went to as a kid so ive still got a bit of a soft spot for them.
That ground is the absolute opposite to the bowl in terms of fans proximity to the pitch and they can still make some proper noise when the occasion arises normally these days against the likes of Millwall and Luton.
I do hope we give them a proper hammering though and progress further in the competition.
A cup run would be most welcome and so would being able to go to the pub without the ridicule if they beat us

Foggy seems to be your analysis of everything West Ham.
Criticism from a poster who has probably never even been to the Boleyn, ouch I feel so burnt.

There's a video on youtube of some young QPR fella absolutely mullering some mouthy Millwall fan in the middle of the road. How can you not like that.

Darren Peacock, was on loan with us but never made a first team appearance according to wiki. Used loads of shampoo and shafted the club.

Couldn't find a bar showing it. There must have been some, but I couldn't find one.
Not good for the sponsors who pay for and control the game.Ha ha couldn't find a bar showing it....well serves you right for living in a mud hut in a poverty stricken village near the Cambodian borderWhat makes you feel that Belvedere is anywhere near the Cambodian border?

Re: FA Cup Draw - 3rd Round (Monday 8 December)
Had a look at the fixtures and we have Forest at home Tue Jan 6th.
Thus unless we are moved to the Monday Night game Nuno will not prioritise the QPR game. QPR don't play midweek thus will put out their strongest team.
However as Liverpool and Arseanl play on Thu Jan 8th either of those 2 teams will play on the Monday night.
Portsmouth v Arsenal has more appeal to TV audiences , at a stretch they both could play on Sunday.
No PL teams will play on the Friday night as they all play prior to that weekend.
Charlton v Chelsea and Spurs v Villa really have to play on Sunday i'm sure or even the Monday.
Fulham v Middlesbrough most likely to be played on Saturday as it only features 1 PL team. Plus they are not a top 6 team so won't get preferable fixture.
Thus...we're playing at 3pm Saturday with a weakened line up, whatever that means as most of Nuno's line up's are pretty weak and not our strongest.

Tough,tough draw.
QPR a massive club, Bus parked already...
No way Nuno will sleep tonight.
Seriously that's a good tie.
No major minnows having a go at us for 90 minutes.
Strongest team out
