Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
Well seems like with all these international breaks, and us languishing, the rumours of ins and outs are rife.
Chuck anything 'worthy' of discussion on this thread...

This starts and stops with our GLORIOUS LEADER.! Anything else is noise. And Deckchair shuffling. The problem is. Captain Sullivan has already run the ship into the iceberg.!
PRIMED FOR THE DROP.!

Potter has a lot to do with this; he got rid of Cresswell, Antonio and Coufal, Fabianski came back, I would take all three back for this relegation battle

And pursuing his own personal targets or being played by his ‘mates’ over what is actually wanted and needed by the manager.

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
We have money available.
We sold a share in the Ladies team (49%) recently which eased cash flow.
The biggest concern for me right now is that striker is needed and getting a half decent one that can hit the ground running is next to impossible.
Our defence is not strong but serviceable...but without us creating more chances and having a way to threaten more consistently, we don't stand a chance.
We need two wingers IMO (one who can play centrally if needed) and at least one out and out striker who is capable of holding the ball up and running the channels.
I'd argue we really need a creative number 10 too, as even when Paqueta is on form he's a ten who works hard without being hugely creative.

But you said he doesn't care? Don't really make sense mate, him not caring about losing about half a billion value on his biggest asset, but fair enough.

People have been saying, maybe let's just wait till he brings some of his own players in, then we find out that it's strongly rumoured that 1 of them is Adama Traore.
Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
Elanga might be a possible loan target.
Well known to the manager, not getting much of a look in at Newcastle - walks in to the team ahead of Summerville, or could play in a counter attacking front 3 with Summerville and Bowen.

Funny enough, we are being associated with wingers only by the press
I will put my tin hat on. I am here all dayDid Dawson retire? honestly think we should get him in for rest of season, even if he doesn't play, he might be what we need in the dressing room
Yeah, even if he's just knocking about the place like the ghost of christmas past hopefully it's enough of a deterrent and warning to avoid relegation

He absolutely cares (about the financial implications and how it reflects on him personally, only) but he’s dug himself a hole over the past three seasons that’s just too deep to get out of now. He’s been constantly pushing his luck by half measures annd shortcuts and cutting corners presumably just playing a waiting game to get his hands on the stadium and it’s finally caught up with him and there’s no way out.
He’s at the point where it’s do nothing and go down or spend 100 million plus and maybe just escape.

Apparently it's been put out there ttherhe's not happy about Wson not being played. The owner doesn't care if we get relegated
what possible reason is there for him not caring?

I've got a funny feeling he could return at some point, the longer a Club doesn't take him on.

This article on c&h is a c/p from many previous transfer windows.
We are working extremely hard, but unfortunately it was always going to be difficult.....

May as well save our money for our championship assault, as more chance of me having a go on jennifer lawrence than there is of us getting more than 35 points regardless of who we bring in.
Manager is as useless a cսnt as the owner.

Agree. I think both managers have probably been told not to start him regularly because of the cost. What sort of fucking way is that to run a club? I could understand if we had two good reliable strikers also at the club meaning we wouldn’t need him that much but behind only the made of glass cowardly cսnt Fullkrug it was obvious to anyone we’d end up relying on him as first choice striker for stretches of the season.
Sullivan absolutely fucked over both managers by yet again not addressing the striker situation in any meaningful way.

My overall point is that it nearly worked. If Bowen puts that pretty simple chance away, it works. No one talks anymore. It's not like teams are smashing us to pieces or we are not making chances.
Your overall point is nonsense, as per usual.
