Re: Women Mauled To Death By 2 XL Bully Dogs
That's been my argument all along Sidey... these attacks are happening only last few decades?? For years there was hardly any reported attacks by Pitty's?? Presidents owned them?? They appeared on TV/Films?? They was the US dog of choice for years. So the breed all of a sudden has become manic and deranged after years of being a family hound?? No... it's been fucking made that way by the cսnt owners... I bet every single one of those attacks there was a underlying reason.... Anyway.... if you get the chance watch this film... you may or may not think things differently. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otgbBDaZzCw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GmJNTRhafI

"I don't think I'd want an APBT either as a domestic pet, Sold0. I'd want my pet to be a bit more fluffy and not have to be constantly worrying about it being around children or other animals, if I'm honest. I have no issues with black labs, for example!"

People don’t die falling down man hole covers because someone has discovered a really unreliable make of man hole cover and has insisted on having them at their house though? That’s what’s known as an ‘accident’.

"We’re not talking about all that other shit Sold0, look how dominant those breeds are for the deaths. They are unnecessary deaths especially if the person didn’t even own the dog as in didn’t bring it into their household. Only time I think they got what they deserved is if they went for a trespasser breaking in. Of course it’s all down to how well you treat a dog easily capable of killing far more so than your average breeds……ffs……they are a meatheads extension of themselves or a scared persons protection."

"Trunds... Ok got ya... crossed wires... Yeah if you go back long enough the majority of breeds were bred for baiting, hunting, fighting, protecting, ratting etc... anything with the moniker of Terrier is a killer (a hunter). Yet we live with 100's of these breeds now ... quite happily... just like we used to do with the APBT before the Michael Vicks and co got their hands on them and started poking them with sticks... anyway I imagine whats happening with these XL's will take some of the heat and breed persecution away from the Pittys."

"Northern Sold 10:03 Tue Feb 6 ""Trunds... where you getting this 15000 figure from?? You talking about XL's?? My argument is re the APBT's"" Yeah, the 15k figure is apparently the amount of XL Bully's here. I'm not sure what your argument is with APBT's? If you're arguing that they weren't originally bred for agression, then you're wrong."

"Yup that's me Kaiser ... just as Eerie is known as Millwall cսnt... glad you are up to speed you thick cսnt... Sidey.... there are over 90,000,000 dogs in the US... so yeah those figures are probably spot on... you fancy sticking up how many farming accidents in the US... or people falling down man hole covers etc... or falling off ladders... etc etc.... you know just for comparison...."

"Trunds... where you getting this 15000 figure from?? You talking about XL's?? My argument is re the APBT's... in the US it's the number one owned dog ... pretty sure I read there was just under 20m owned in the US. Interesting fact Between 1965–1975, There Was Only One Pitbull Reported Attack Backs up my poking the dog with the stick... for decades before the Michael Vick/Gerald McClellan cunts got their hands on them they was a normal... family... hound."

ED... keep up you wannabe spastic... me and Trunds are talking about APBT's not the XL Bullies... I've met plenty of Pitbull's mainly in the States and a couple here... see that's what happens when you get out and about... rather than knocking one off on Allardyce and Terry Hurlock daily in your Bermondsey hovel... get out the house you fucking old lady

"You'll never get this breed in the leafy seaside town of Rochford, so I suppose it's easy to be brave about it on here. The Spurs cսnt would cower like a rabbit in headlights if he saw one on the street."
Re: Women Mauled To Death By 2 XL Bully Dogs
"The fact that these dogs seem nigh to impossible to drag away ""if"" they kick off seems the biggest problem. If a Jack Russell goes for you it's easier to pull them away, and it's unlikely to kill you. So why risk a dog that ""might"" be ok but if it does go then it will inflict major damage."

Due to a certain section of our society they are an unnecessary breed in this country. There plenty of breeds to choose from in fact too many…..a dog is a companion not a statement.

"Sold0 If it's responsible for 50% of attacks on humans and other animals, then it's not a normal dog. 15,000 of these dogs create the same number of attacks as the rest of the 12 million dogs in the country. Those are crazy STATS."

"Trunds... because for a lot of people they are just a normal dog... like it was for centuries in the US... presidents owned them, they were mascots, movie stars ... https://be.chewy.com/behavior-breeds-5-famous-pit-bulls/ If the boot was on the other foot and the Rotties had kept on with their bad press from the 70-80's (DEVIL DOG OMEN etc) then you'd go to a dog park or dog beach and you would not even notice the Pitty's... well you might as my biggest recollection was one running for his life on Seal Beach (CAL) being chased by a chihauahua in a red white polka dot bikini..."
Re: Women Mauled To Death By 2 XL Bully Dogs
"I don't remember ever seeing or hearing of these dogs until the last couple of years. I think I had my first encounter with one at the weekend, I live in a small cotswolds town and was walking down the high street, a huge powerful lump of a dog coming the other way. The dog went for mine (I have a big muscular Labrador - 34kg, not an ounce of fat), the old chap walking him was pulled like a rag doll, luckily mine is a bit of an athlete and leapt up and out of the way while attempting a masculine bark to try to save face. I had a staff growing up, and am accustomed to hench heavily built dogs, but I've never seen anything like the dog that went for my lab. I happened to be in the middle of it all and at one point looked down at the other dog while it was attacking, without exaggeration too much, I can only compare it to a dog version of a great white shark. It was all over within a second as my one was too mobile, but he did have saliva lines on his side that looked like a small shark had tried to bite him. If a dog like that attacked a person of any size and age, the person would have little to no chance of surviving."

"Sold Those figures are ridiculous. Just say I agree with you, and it's all down to the chavvy, thick, owners that makes them WAY more dangerous than every other dog put together. Why on earth would anyone want to own one to be associated with the likes of them?"

Re: Women Mauled To Death By 2 XL Bully Dogs
"Trunds... what exactly is naturally aggressive?? Situations bring on aggression surely?? Not many things come out the womb wanting to chew your face off?? I'll give you one thing though... due to them being in the wrong hands (a lot of the time)... and in circumstances then yes they certainly have the tools to do damage... from the animal foundation. https://animalfoundation.com/whats-going-on/blog/pit-bulls-make-great-family-pets Pit bulls have been popular family pets in America since before the Civil War. In fact, they were so popular in the early 1900s through the 1950s they were the closest thing the United States had to a national dog. And yet, many people still have misconceptions about these affable, and often misunderstood, terrier dogs. The Animal Foundation’s Leid animal shelter adopts out thousands of dogs a year, including many pit bull terriers and we’re happy to report that pit bulls make great family pets. Like all dogs, pit bull terriers are individuals who are just as likely to be safe and gentle as any other dog. No breed or type of domesticated dog is inherently dangerous or aggressive. (As you may have read previously, “pit bull” isn’t even a breed at all. It’s a term that has evolved to describe a certain set of characteristics like muscular bodies and broad heads.) Temperament Tests The American Temperament Test Society provides a uniform program of temperament testing for dogs. In their temperament tests, pit bull-type dogs passed at a higher rate than many other popular breeds. Another peer-reviewed study found that nearly 85% of dog bite fatalities were from unneutered dogs. The most common secondary factors were: lack of socialization and positive interactions with people and animals abuse or neglect tethering for long periods of time. Breed had nothing to do with it – a fact recognized by the State of Nevada, which prohibits breed discrimination with a provision that states, “A dog may not be found dangerous or vicious based solely on the breed of the dog.” The bottom line is that dogs, like people, are individuals. Treating them that way, and providing them with the appropriate care, training, and supervision is the best way to ensure a happy and safe environment your dog and your family."

"Sold, most Americans have the best solution to one of these dogs over there going wild.....it will be a whole different attitude because of that.......over here......most these owners of them would probably swap them out for a gun if it were the same as the U.S.......thankfully we are limited to these dog abusers....."

"""This dog breed is responsible for over 70% of all deaths to dogs since 2021; it's responsible for nearly 50% of all attacks on both humans and other dogs."" That suggests the breed is naturally aggressive, surely?"

Re: Women Mauled To Death By 2 XL Bully Dogs
"DVM... loads of dog breeds over the years have been bred for bull baiting and for dog fighting... the so called APBT (not even a recognised breed by the way) is the one that has had been prodded the most with the stick over the decades... if cunts like Michael Vick, Gerald McClellan (who actually killed quite a few of his dogs as they were too timid) and co were not around then that breed would have stood a chance... like I have said I have been to the US shit loads of times... yes banned from some states but also allowed in many more and have seen plenty with my own eyes mingling and just being a normal dog... no people running for cover... no other dogs cowering away... just being a dog. If you treat any hound with what the hound needs then you don't have any problem... if you poke a hound with stick enough times.... then it will be fucking aggressive... just like you probably would."

"Northern Sold I don't really have an issue with the breed of dog if it's used correctly. I'd quite happily have a couple of these killers guarding something for me. I just can't get my head around wanting one and have it strolling around the house especially around kids. I'm completely with you on the owners. If she took a broom to puppies, then I have no real emotion about her having her throat ripped out by them."

Re: Women Mauled To Death By 2 XL Bully Dogs
"Sold no offence but that link is complex shit about APBTs. They were bred specifically for fighting other dogs. Bulldogs were the bull baiting breed. Terriers for ratting, They started mixing the 2 for dog fighting. From day one they were bred for violence. The American Staffordshire Terrier is a stunning dog with less aggression."
