Re: Nuno Out
The man cannot help himself. He always panics and tries to hold on to a lead by substituting one of the front men for a defender or defensive player. That will always result in the opposition getting 10-20 yards further up the pitch and condensing the play in our half of the pitch. We then drop even deeper so that the opposition can find space on the edge of our box.
I would much rather end up losing a game like that by having an attacking threat and trying to win the game than trying to shore up a bunch of defenders that have been the worst in the league this season.

Re: Nuno Out
This grubby tramp is a tactical imbecile. How the fuck he has had 4 jobs in the PL is astonishing.

Re: Nuno Out
Carrick wouldn’t have stood a chance here. He’d have just got bullied by Sullivan.
under an owner who isn’t a selfish egomaniac I think he’d do ok for us.

Re: Nuno Out
Was Carrick out of work or still at Boro when we appointed Nuno? If at Boro we know why Sullivan wasnt interested. “Penny wise, pounds foolish” Sullivan as always. Great businessman? My arse is he.
West Ham are a great example if a failing organisation / company. Should be a good case study for business study students in future years on how not to do it.

Re: Nuno Out
Michael Carrick immediately showing what a massive mistake it was for us not to give him a chance ahead of the three utter pricks we ended up with.

Don't know anything abou him but if he is proved to be a managerial genius remember who mentioned him fiirst.
On the other hand if he turns out to be a one-season wonder, please disregard this post.1 Dec 2025, 18:06A manager to keep 1 eye on maybe in the future 1 day is Pierre. The young geezer is doing madness for French Club Men's this season. Seriously impressive win rates and big results against the likes of Monaco and Marseille playing attacking Football.
But yes, seems to have something about him.
Who was the last young manager who was doing great things in the French league?
Whatever happened to him?
