Kinda odd that it’s only Minnesota that has this chaotic issue with ICE.

It feels like a turning point for the administration and their approach to immigration. This on top of the last couple of weeks has been damaging for the republicans and that seems to be sinking in.

I’d agree with that, however MN will have to make concessions on their Sanctuary City protections. They can’t simply keep hiding illegal criminals from ICE agents and allowing them to walk the streets. They need to start co-operating.

It’s no surprise that people want change when our present government took power with a mandate from a minority of the electorate. If we change government though because of the FPP system we will still be governed by a party that most of us will have voted against.

Unless or until we adopt a system at Westminster which proportionally represents the way people vote the UK is going to continue in this downhill route to chaos and oblivion.

Whilst I have always thought that PR was desirable from the point of view of improved democracy, if this AI assessment is anywhere near true, I don't think it will bring about better government.

We KNOW the current lot are not fit to govern under the Labour party mandate (through experience). We KNOW the previous lot are not fit to govern under the Tory party mandate (through experience). 

We have no experience of how Reform UK will perform as we have no experience of them either way. Surely that alone is a better reason for voting them in than continuing with either of the previous governmental parties who we KNOW are not up to the task.
