The Champions League has become full of mickey mouse group games. Does anyone watch the CL anymore? Especially the group games unless your club is involved? It's boring and World/Euro qualifying has gone the same way. The FA have no bollocks so won't do anything bar try and pacify the clubs involved, but it certainly would be interesting if they ""big 6"" were kicked out. How long would it take to get this up and running? A year? two? Can't imagine any of the clubs wanting to hang around for a year or two with no income if they were all kicked out of the current Leagues/Tournaments. However if you kick them out what knock on effect would that have on any TV deal for The Premier League without the ""big 6""? My take on it - these European super clubs think that they are the reason the CL is so successful so want a bigger share of the dough and don’t want to play as many games against smaller teams. Eventually I reckon uefa will fold & restructure the CL to match their wishes.
