Yes, it is more about money than it has ever been but the premise and infrastructure of the game is entirely different. There are competitive leagues at all levels throughout the world, they are not just structured to feed the big boys, those teams want to do the best they can and, further up the scale, compete at the highest leagues. It is a crock of shit infested by greedy fuckers who want to protect their asset and do not want to earn the right to compete at then highest level. Unfortunately, Man Utd's annual spending power is almost four times' ours: even when we have a good year.
