MPI If feathers don't get ruffled they get filled with ticks. I'm using that in this afternoons meeting! Looking out for the blank faces of anybody under the age of 40 wondering what the fuck a tick is!

"COYI You would appear to have upset WHO royalty (Ted is definitely WHO royalty). That is unforgivable in my book, the bloke is a legend on this site! If I were you son I would swallow a huge lump of humble pie and refrain from being such a knob."

Come On You Irons 4:43 Wed Jun 9 So as a consultant you are self employed? When you say six figure salary is that your invoicing for the company or the salary and dividends you take from the Company? What's your position on IR35?
Re: Football Super league rumours yet again !!
Irons is frantically googling what type of consultants earn a 6 figure salary.
Re: Football Super league rumours yet again !!
"comma, that's still more than the breakaway clubs have to pay and top of that £5 mill, we had to pay the Blades close to £30 million from their case against us"

"Chelsea have already recouped half of that ""fine"" by selling an unknown player to us who's never played first team football. All they need to do if do it again from one of the other 750 players they have on their books."

Re: Football Super league rumours yet again !!
"There will be no meaningful punishments at all even in the future as the league can't do without at least 4 of the 6. The same way UEFA aren't going to do anything against Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus as TV rights would take a knock if they excluded them. Come the end of the 23/24 season all teams will leave their respective leagues and then join the Super League as money will takeover. Amazon will be the TV broadcaster and they will pay around £5-7 billion a season to screen the games. Amazon will rake in around £15-20B a year through subscription alone. (These are my estimates)"

"Pathetic We got more than that for a poxy clause in Tevez’ contract. I can see the 6 clubs just doing it again, as if true, it could cost them a lot more for pulling out of what they signed up to. Hopefully the talk of up to a 30 point deduction happens and it isn’t shared between them."

"£20m fine. That's total, not per club. So about £3.5m each. That'll teach them!"
