Callum Marshall
"Another hat-trick, this time against Fulham in the PL U18 Cup. Poxy camera angle, but worth watching for his brilliant third goal. Early days, but this lad could be a potential superstar https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tddKySeAWDA"

Re: Callum Marshall
"I agree with davey, I've watched him quite a bit and he's very effective off the left hand side of a three. kodua also looks good either side, I'd be looking at moving on benrahma next summer and bringing both in to the match day squad. it will never happen under this manager sadly"

Re: Callum Marshall
Shouldn’t it looked at that you are able to fit into the way Moyes likes to play then you are a bit shit?
Re: Callum Marshall
"Exile I disagree. You must have been watching different games. His first goal today was because he was strong enough to keep standing and got the lucky ricochet. He's done something similar in several games. He's strong at running at players especially coming in from the left. He's actually bigger than he appears. His pressing is impressive and he DOES it with pace, that's why he or the team gets the ball back so often . Mubama was the same as are Earthy and Kouda. I honestly believe both Mubama and Marshall can make it. I think we should have tried both against Lincoln in the Cup. A more proactive manager would of done. Maybe if we get an easy FA Cup draw who knows. If I was going to choose who will make it I think it will be Marshall. He also has international football which when he starts scoring for NI that will benefit him hugely, the experience alone is a big plus"

Re: Callum Marshall
"daveyg 12:26 Sat Dec 2 Spot on, thought exactly the same watching the game last night I hear that throughout the younger teams that is the way they play What the fuck does that say about Moyes ? I personally think that Steidten as already identified the manager he wants who can adapt to this approach through the teams at the club"
Re: Callum Marshall
"Marshall's scoring record is truly sensational, but it's hard to see where he would fit into a Moyes side. He doesn't have either a strong physical presence or great pace but his eye for goal is exceptional. My hope is that he can develop his game to be a similar kind of player to Bowen.... with even more goals."

Re: Callum Marshall
"davey - Moyes aside for the moment, do you think Marshall has more chance of making it in the PL than Mubama? I kind of get the impression he is, admittedly based on very little."
Re: Callum Marshall
"It's quite clear to see they are completely differently coached. High press, defending in the opposition half with our back 3 a few yards back of the half way line. Marshall plays either on the left of the front three or through the middle but does go over to the right. Each of the front 3 interchange smoothly and press the opposition all the time. This is down to being expertly coached. So different from the low intensity of The Moyes teams who struggle so badly to do anything but sit back"

Re: Callum Marshall
"I never for 1 second believe that Ings was a Moyes signing he likes a big target man, so unfortunately the likes of Marshall will struggle to get anywhere under Moyes I just hope someone took him aside and said Moyes will be gone in the summer"

Re: Callum Marshall
Is it interesting or just logic? I mean our youth players get educated in playing decent attacking football to then know that breaking into the 1st team will involve none of that. At the end of the day they know it is a struggle to make it so at the very least they will want to get themselves at a club who would appreciate their skill set potential and look to build on it with them. It would be the same in any profession no? Effectively to play for Moyes you have to retrain…..and you are a kid.

"Interesting that both Sonny Perkins and Harrison Ashby, who departed as they didn't feel they were getting enough first team opportunities, are currently out on loan at lower division clubs."

"Not working for me either. Still, more interesting than a working link of our first team."
