"Still in all the Cups Still Going through to knock out in this one for 2024 Still 9th in the League Still inconsistent as fuck (hence likely mid table hovering for the rest of the season) Still playing football most don't enjoy watching Still ignoring youth team to 1st team opportunities Pick your glass, half empty or half full, that's West Ham"

"Not sure what to expect from this one? by all accounts We have a virus in the club, and i don't mean Moyes! apparently, that's one of the reasons for that shit show at Fulham. The bladder is neutral on this one so assume thats a draw on the cards which should be enough to secure top spot despite zee Germans having a better GD, the fact we beat them in sausage land sees us top. 1-1 COYI"

"Manuel - Absolutely. Moyes will want them to throw everything early for a lead. Freiburg haven't scored a great deal in their league, although they haven't conceded much either. I just don't see where Moyes will take risks at out scoring them after half time."

"Jaan - Possibly towards the end but that would still be a big risk and the game would also have to be level at that point. Sitting back if we're in front, yes, that would be very likely."

"Manuel 4:59 Mon Dec 11 I half agree. I expect us to have a go from the off, But the longer the match goes on without a lead, the bigger the draw becomes the target. I can't see this being a very open match, especially as they notched 5 against Olympiacos."

"Unless we win the next 2 games by 5 goals, make 5 subs and introduce 3 youth team players in each game Moyes should go without hesitation. That is the only way we are going to progress. . Just suck and tired of this clown his attitude to players and fans is disgraceful. How can he not resign or be sacked Now,today. The board and him are absolutely cowards."

It's got nothing to do with being 'edgy' at all. It's got everything to do with how Moyes is known to set up in these types of situation. We are to all intents and purposes going into this with a virtual 1-0 lead and his first thought is always in these situations to preserve that by defending it rather than extend it by attacking. That is what is practical to this manager.

I think they (Freiburg) will do what Frankfurt did to us at the bowl.....

"They are top half in the German league, so clearly no mugs who could turn us over, bearing in mind we have defenders who look like park players. But do me a favour with the ''playing for the draw'' nonsense, won't happen, it's not practical, particularly in front of 60k poor cunts under the lights, no matter how edgy you think you might sound wheeling that out on a forum."

As long as the players ignore what Moyes tells them to do we'll be fine .
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v SC Freiburg - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Its going to be a dull nervy game! Instead of starting strong and trying to get the game won, and then rotate some players. We will inevitably play very defensive, leave them with a sniff all game. Meaning we have a really intense game until the final whistle. and then we a knackered for the game v wolves!"

"Well, this is a massive game thanks to us laying a fucking egg in Greece a few weeks ago. Very worried as it's not a 'must win' but a 'must not lose' so i think we can guess how Moyes will approach it with backs to the wall defending our penalty area and hoping for one on the break. I'm not convinced given recent form we can keep them out, but we will see. One thing. Several of the players really need to raise their fucking game as well."
