Police apply for more funding for Madeleine McCann search
"FFS! Surely enough is enough? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/02/12/police-apply-funding-madeleine-mccann-search/ Detectives investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann have applied for more funding for the search. The Home Office confirmed that it is considering an application from the Metropolitan Police for more money to keep the probe, called Operation Grange, going. A spokeswoman said: ""The Home Office has provided funding to the Metropolitan Police for Operation Grange and the resources required are reviewed regularly with careful consideration given before any new funding is allocated."" Government funding for the investigation has been agreed every six months, with £154,000 being granted from October last year until the end of March. More than £11 million has been spent so far on the probe to find the missing girl, who vanished from the family's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in Portugal in May 2007, aged three. Madeleine's parents Kate and Gerry McCann, of Rothley, Leicestershire, have vowed never to give up hope of finding their daughter. In 2011 the Met Police launched its own investigation into what had happened to the toddler."

There are some met detictives hoping for another year of chasing white elephants rather than going back to some hard work.

Let the McCanns fund it themselves. This is just sick now.

"Still would like to know where the pocket Poirot's think they hid the body for the best part of a month. In any case things will move along over next few months, German police have found SOMETHING but cannot and will not share till CB is in trail which he will be very soon https://www.gbnews.com/news/madeleine-mccann-hunt-german-police-make-critical-discovery-at-portuguese-reservoir"

Re: Police apply for more funding for Madeleine McCann search
The oddest thing about this case is that if they had been white trash they'd be in jail and there wouldn't have been this huge gravy train of lawyers and coppers and red top stories and government involvement and German paedos etc etc. Its like manna from heaven for everyone except the victim of course.

"Oh and body language experts I've seen seem to think they're hiding something, but After watching loads of vids on the subject it all just seems like pseudoscience, prob why courts don't use them."
Re: Police apply for more funding for Madeleine McCann search
"Never understood why they didn't follow up on the dog thing, would have thought they would have used a black light on the spot the dog was interested in to show any blood pooling, and DNA swabbed that specific area. I'm 50/50 on it all ...on one half would have been almost impossible for them to tidy up a crime scene/hide body that night/ manage to keep body hidden for nearly a month then successfully get rid.whuch is literally how it would of had to go down if they did it In the other hand they were just a bit.....creepy. fuck knows, probably will never find out"

Re: Police apply for more funding for Madeleine McCann search
So they have been trying to construct a case against dodgy German paedo who was in the vicinity for 5 (FIVE) years. Dont seem to have a smoking gun beyond this bloke being a WRONG 'UN What actually happened with the cadaver dog evidence & why is it now ignored? To be honest the only witness I'd believe has 4 legs and a wet nose

"I found the cadaver dog thing compelling till I read they can pick up scents for literally years after, that and they're about 85)90% accurate bit infallible I just can't believe they could have gotten away with hiding the body for 25 days with the world's press on their every movement then managed to dispose of it. Seems absurd. Branded- Guess that makes you Christian Brucekner's nonce rapist's best mate by that logic"

Re: Police apply for more funding for Madeleine McCann search
"The McCanns change their story, then refuse to answer official police questioning, no physical evidence of a break in, blood and cavader dogs alert to spots in the holiday flat and their hire car, Madeleine's DNA found in parents' hire car (partial or full match, depending on the news source) ""No, not enough evidence!"" Creepy German bloke who did time for sex crimes was in the area at the time and his equally dodgy ex-friends with whom he fell out say he remarked ""It's strange she didn't scream"" (after they'd been discussing the story) and it's interpreted as him confessing to the crime. No DNA, no physical evidence. No witnesses other than dishonest criminals with a grudge. ""GUILTY! HANG HIM!"" *shrugs*"

"I repeat what to you find so hard to believe about a convicted rapist torturing paedo that has been proven to have been in the area at the time had anything to do with it , to the extent you insult anyone that suggests it's a possibility ?"

Re: Police apply for more funding for Madeleine McCann search
"Kaiser, Apart from him telling his mate ""she didn't scream when I took her"" what exactly do you find hard to believe about the possibility he could have had something to do with it?"
Re: Police apply for more funding for Madeleine McCann search
"Kaiser, To be fair he is the current prime suspect, sounds more believable than the Mccans selling her to Gordon Brown as he's part of a satanic paedo ring they all belong to, which is what some on here peddling at the time"
