Decent test again this one. They should have beaten the BarCodes at the weekend even though not dominating possession thet looked dangerous on the counter.  Will we be able to open them up more effectively?  All depends on line ups as usual in this competition. As everyone says, lets hope we take this seriously for once as we have no Europe this season.

Does the winner of this competition get a spot in Europe?

If so we need to nail this. Scrappy 1-0 in a Moyesesque game will do at this stage to help embed the new players.

I'd have been tempted across the river for this game if pay at the door was still an option.

Would love to see us go strong and try a pretty much new signing XI and then rest people up after / sub players on when the opposition are tired such as Coufal, Ward Prowse, Guilherme, Irving, Antonio etc. I still wonder what Cornet has / hasn't done in training as thought he might have a good crack

We need to gel as a team, we have no Europe and we're playing a PL team. We want to try and win this cup.. We've played 2 games and have a 2 weeks bresk coming up
