"BBC sport article headlines; “Superb Newcastle knock holders Manchester United out of EFL Cup” “West Ham dump below-par Arsenal out of EFL Cup” No reference to how good we were in the second half, and the majority of the report is about Arsenal. Laughable."

"That was a fantastic second half and desperately needed after the last three games. Arsenal weren’t at it tonight and rested a few, but we worked so hard and fully deserved it. There were a few stand out performances but Kudus was brilliant. Great on the ball and he ran his socks off tonight. The first touch for his goal was sublime - even though the ridiculously bias Alan Smith called it fortunate."

"Don't really know what to make of that apart from we won Dire first half, 1-0 up. Lucky own goal. Good attacking start to the 2nd half. One good finish, one good strike aided by a deflection. Arsenal big guns didn't make a difference. Resolute defence and the back 4 played like one. Ah well quaternary final then. Port Vale at home, expect Liverpool to get them though"

Emerson is so important to how we play. Brings out the best in Pacqueta and is runs with the ball better than most of our forward players. Kudus is some player SHOULD HAVE SIGNED FOR A BIG CLUB. GET IN YOU BEAUTIES

I thought Emerson was good tonight. I was expecting Saka to be all over him when he came on but he played him intelligently and when he gets forward his passing is a lot more telling than Cresswell ever was. Alvarez has given us an umbrella in front of the defence a lot of positional play that prevents through balls. Kudus worked well down the right and his interplay with Bowen so much better than Antonio. He was a handful and caused their defence a lot of headaches.

"That was a better performance but we rode our luck, like the Chelsea and Brighton games. We showed moments of quality, but for the most part were crap with possession. The difference was the teams pace on and off the ball caused Arsenal problems. Hopefully Moyes isn't stupid enough to change the top 4 attacking players. Bowen is our best option up top and Kudus and Paqueta are too good to shift out to other areas to accomodate Soucek and Antonio."

Interesting. I think Moyes made a dressing room apology to get that out of the lads.

"Arsenal fans such a delusional lot! On a forum with a lot of them posting. Before the game it was all routine win, West Hsm are shit, we got there best player. At FT it’s, not bothered, it’s a cup hardly worth winning, the club, players and Arteta have bigger and better things to play for, obviously holding themselves back for the title chase and CL. Arrogant fuck wits! COYI"

"brilliant performance from everyone tonight, but some of the interplay between bowen, paqueta and kudus was exceptional. performances like that are why I moan, they're capable of that and better every week. I just hope we now get a decent draw in the QF"

"Brilliant second half, actually looked like a team. Everyone played well but as said below special mention to Coufal who looked back to his best. Kudus looks a player with one hell of an engine."

Sky can sticking up their arae. Just cut our post match off maybe as Arsenal are embarrassed. Seeing Mancs getting smashed though is OK.
