Is that good>?  Been wondering if I should give it a go or not.  Started watching Benidorm on Prime,.  Never saw it before oddly and find it extremely funny.  Tried that new Jack Whitehall Xmas Movie and god had to turn it off after 20 minutes.  The definition of unfunny cringe I think today's generation would say!
Benidorm is a bit old now but fucking funny, they did milk it for too long though.

Giving The Responder a go, it's a bit ''in your face'' but you can't go wrong with Martin Freeman.

Yeah it's OK. I see Keira Knightley along with Eddie Redmayne for his role in Day of The Jackal have been nominated for Golden Globe awards.

I've been wetching the second season of Based on a True Story. Quite fun and I like Kaley Couco.  Tom Bateman's serial killer is quite a laugh.

Recent episode of Day of the Jackal was awesome.

Yes its a shame they stopped it in COvid, looked set for a season 4 and never happened.

Am update to date on "Before" its very good.

Watched first episode of Dune Prophecy and I'm quite impressed. Strong cast (exccuse the pun) and good CGI.

WolfHall 2 doesn't disappoint. Mark Rylance is probably one lof the world's greatest actors,

Day of The Jackal just gets better..

I think I will get onto that, Alfs.

Was reading that Danny Dyer is getting praise for his role in Rivals, shock horror, he can actually act in different roles. Good for him. I remember Hugh Grant was accused of the same thing until he proved them all wrong with different roles with the likes of A Very English Scandal and The Undoing.

3 Episodes in to "Before" with Billy Crystal, if you liked The Servant, you'll like this.

Managed to finish Rivals, yes it's shit and hugely cringe and pretentious, but if you don't take it too seriously then it's not a bad yarn overall. Looks like their will be another season too.

Yes, sometimes a series loses its way with a poor unsatisfactory finale. The last two episodes were fantastic.  No happy ever after. Awards on the way.
Delving into characters over a series will result in dips.
Breaking bad/Better call Saul/sopranos all had the same dips.
that's whey its all worthwhile in the end.
The Mother in the Penguin for example.
It's all about telling the life story of Oswald Cobb and why he is what he is.
Yea all true, the mother was a bit irritating but understand the importance of the character and that she was his weak spot i.e he had someone he cared about and wanted to protect.

Really enjoying 'Paris has fallen' halfway through the series and it doesn't disappoint.

Landman begins on Paramount+ next weekend. Stars Billy Bob Thornton and is written and directed by the same bloke who did Yellowstone and it's various spin offs, will give it a go.

I have a feeling that the  Victor kid survives
HBO has not yet confirmed whether The Penguin will return for season 2, and the network likely will not share an official answer to the series' fate any time soon. For one, a new season of The Penguin would have to wait until after The Batman Part II arrives in 2026 since the sequel is already confirmed to continue Oz's story. In a post-finale interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Lauren LeFranc confirmed that the final shot of The Penguin, which shows the Bat Signal shining above Gotham, is meant "to launch into [The Batman director Matthew Reeve's] second film."
