They are a generic term for sheepskin boots that were made by lots of small companies-people all over Australia and were cheap as chips then the name was registered by an American group and stated to sue all the Aussie companies that had been making them for donkeys years. They then started charging a fortune for inferior products made in China and made a global brand. Capitalism at its worst.
