Man bags

Post Sydney_Iron »

"What’s with these things, don’t us blokes have pockets to put things in anymore? Trend seems to have been started by footballers, you watch any footage of players arriving at grounds etc, they all have one, usually a designer brand. Bloke I know has started carrying one, he’s not left footed either, says it’s really handy and can carry all his bits and bobs, WTF?"

"100% with Manual on this. We have more stuff in sensible daily life and what he have has got bigger, meanwhile clothing sytles have got more casual meaning we have less pockets. Bag of some description is a must for me, only exception is a travel light night out which involves a wad of cash and one trusty card with a decent balance."

"I have a bag, but it's got a couple of cameras, some lenses and other photo-related stuff in it. Still goes with me everywhere, though....even if the phone goes front left pocket and the cash and debit card go front right."

"The only (ONLY) thing that should enhance the body line of your trousers/shorts pocket area should be a part of your own body in that region. If you feel the need to pad your pockets out with a phone, wallet or cash that's your insecurity showing through."

"I always thought footballers carried a wash bag when they got off the coach rather than what you'd call a MAN BAG One thing I dont understand is where people have all their cash, travel etc options JUST on their phone. What do you do if that is out of charge, lost or stolen? I dont carry a wallet any more but alongside my phone I have a card holder (MULBERRY naturally) with a debit card, credit card & Oyster cards For work I have a shoulder bag so can add my ipad, keys, ear buds & any assorted BITS"
