Talking to myself, but Hummels is going to Roma after all and the club seem concerned with Matip's injury issues. So back to square one by the looks of it. I believe the deadline is quite soon for bringing loanees in.

Ref Matip - I'm IN.
My thinking is assuming he is over his injury then he is a top class CB who is 33, not 36, rated very highly by Klopp both as a player and a person/pro. The consensus seems to be that he is coming in as cover/4th choice CB, but there are no guarantees that Todibo is the real deal and the jury is still mainly out on Dinos. If Matip does come in and can get up to speed I wouldn't be shocked to see in becoming a starter. Could be the new Dawson?

Yes, surprised to hear that Irving turned down Celtic. I would imagine he'll only play if there's an injury crisis. Or if we beat Liverpool and draw a League 2 side in the next round of the Carabao!

Yes, to be sure, I'm well pleased and looking forward to City and the season.
I had wanted to see Irving, I missed him in pre-season. He sounded good, but not sure when he will get on in the Premier.

Usual moaning from some on here. Ok so it hasn't been a perfect window but I would say it's been considerably better than we could have expected. Here's a list of all the players we have for each position - obviously some players can play more than one position so some names are used more than once, especially Kudus! I can't believe some are still saying we have a small squad...

I think it’s about time we except Bowen & Kudus possibly Summerville as our alternative goal scorers as opposed to having a CF.
Fulkrug is here to fill that space but be more of a chance maker than taker….

Beyond belief we’ve not sorted the CF position again, would have rounded off a decent enough window. For me now Max Kilman becomes the most important player at the club, one player we can’t afford to get injured seeing as we’ve left ourselves short at CB.

True RM10, I guess Cresswell can help out as a CB and Coufal can do LB. Also maybe Ollie Scarles is in the picture.
Forward is a bit the same, let's see how Fullkrug gets on. I don't think there is a forward ready in the U21s. Shame Mubama went to City, how the fuck does that happen.
On the whole, I'm impressed though.

GK, RB ok, CB- 1 down there will be injuryissues LB not good cresswell should have been replaced by a pacey younger bloke, Mid- overwhelmed but let’s see, No fucking striker again apart from the over30 German, Antonio ain’t no striker and we couldn’t get rid of Ings. Average finish, disappointing Lope hasn’t hit the key points considering he was watching in the background all that time. Game on.

Looks like these below can be added to complete the list.
Looking forward to see Soler, sounds a very interesting loan. Not sure if I'm happy to see Aguerd and JWP go, they'd have been useful, but we do have a good squad without them. Feels like forever since we had a good bench that can come on and change the game.

Financially an expensive window for the club. Used to clubs like Chelsea loaning out a load of players on the final day.
JWP. Still surprised we let him go for the year. 30 in a few months. Chance of decent a fee (as he’s clearly seen as surplus) next season are unlikely.
Ings looking to see out his final year on the bench.
May end up getting a modest fee for Aguerd but again not close to what was paid.
Some good incomings so can’t complain! Hopefully the squad can gel and the manager can get the team playing well.

What you going on about miike - Jaan can speak for himself, but he's clearly saying what will happen not necessarily what he thinks happen, and he's right. We will shift players around rather than put a youngster there. This club doesn't play youngsters, regardless of who the twat on the touchline is waving his arms around.

this why I rarely post now, a load of know it all cunts. we have a great young prospect but you'd rather see our best DM play out of position and weaken the midfield, or a left back who's legs were gone two years ago. how old does he need to fucking be to be 4th choice? just fuck off

No chance of Casey being used. We'll have Alvarez as CB cover or Cresswell. Alvarez was CB at Club America when Rodriguez played there.
It's incredible how much money Lopetegui and Steiden have spent to end up with a small, old squad, much like Moyes.
Sullivan needs to go.
