Newcastle, West Ham and Everton ‘highly appreciate’ player – Make contact, Magpies leading things

Newcastle United, West Ham United and Everton are all chasing Juventus’ Federico Gatti this summer, according to Tuttosport.
The centre-back made 34 league appearances for the Serie A side last season and his displays seem to have caught attention in the Premier League.
Gatti is ‘highly appreciated’ in England where Newcastle, West Ham and Everton are keen to sign him.
It’s said several Premier League sides, ‘in particular Everton, West Ham and Newcastle’, have carried out surveys for the defender in recent weeks. Among the three, the report claims the Magpies are the ‘most interested’ club to sign him.
Eddie Howe’s side made contact with the Italy international before Azzurri’s Euros clash against Switzerland. Gatti would earn more if he decides to join the Tyneside club, but his wish is to continue at Juve.
The 26-year-old recently had a telephone conversation with new manager Thiago Motta, and has received assurances from the manager to have an important role next season.
Despite Newcastle, West Ham and Everton making contact to sign Gatti, for now he ‘says no’ to the Premier League. The Italian is focusing on starting his third season with the Old Lady.

West Ham submit bid to sign striker from Premier League rivals
According to AfricaFoot, West Ham United have put up a £12.6 million bid for Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana.
In an attempt to bolster his team’s offensive capabilities ahead of the forthcoming Premier League season, Julen Lopetegui, the new West Ham manager, has placed an offer for Chelsea’s Fofana.
It remains to be seen if the striker is the right player for West Ham having not been a consistent goal scorer in his career since moving to Chelsea but Lopetegui is certainly interested if an offer has been made.
The Hammers are said to have made a move of around £12.6 million for Fofana, while Premier League rivals Everton are simply in communication with the forward’s agent.
Jhon Duran, Youssef En-Nesyri, and Callum Wilson have all been linked to West Ham; however, AfricaFoot has reported that Fofana may be the first to join the club.
West Ham are going through a major overhaul of the squad after the departure of David Moyes and under new manager Lopetegui, they are expected to change their playing style and football philosophy.

The Hammers are looking to bolster their attack, midfield and defense in order to address the issues they are facing in terms of quality and depth in the squad.
Despite his young age of 21, he possesses some qualities that might help him develop into a prolific goal scorer.
He is by no means a finished article but under Loeptegui, he could take his game to the next level as the manager has shown in his career how he can improve the young players.
Chelsea are looking to offload the player in order to raise funds for their transfer business and Fofana is likely to be the victim of fire sale at Stamford Bridge.

West Ham in contact for player who ‘no longer feels comfortable’ at current club – Deal there to do

West Ham United have made contact with Red Bull Salzburg defender Oumar Solet as he looks to leave the Austrian side this summer.
That’s according to Salzburger Nachrichten, who say the player ‘no longer feels comfortable’ at the Austrian club and wants to move on.
They explain that Salzburg are expecting a major overhaul of their defensive options this summer, with several of the current stars, who make up arguably the best part of the current team, looking to depart.
Indeed, those departures are ‘imminent’, and Solet is one of those who could be on his way sooner rather than later.
The central defender ‘no longer feels comfortable’ in Salzburg and is keen to leave the club if he can, something which should be made easy given the number of suitors he has.
Roma, Wolfsburg and West Ham are said to have already been in contact with the 24-year-old, although his €10m transfer fee is considered to high at this point.
Either way, West Ham are one of the sides to have been in contact and there is a deal there to be done should they want it.
The big question is whether they do, or whether they do at this point given they’ve just spent big on Max Kilman and also have Kurt Zouma, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Nayef Aguerd as options in central defence too.
We’d suggest that perhaps one, or two, of those may need to move on before Solet could arrive, but he’s a name to keep an eye on, nonetheless.
