Not a film but the 80s London crime/drama Fox is well worth a watch.
A young Ray Winston Peter Vaughan & Larry Lamb amongst the cast.

BRANDED - Have you got onto the recent mini series they did on Sexy Beast about when all the characters were much younger? It wasn't well received, but if you love Sexy Beast I think you will like it, I did.

I swerved The Irishman for quite a while as it wasn't that well received, plus too long, but when I did watch it I thought it was very good. Always reminds me of the Ricky Gervais gag about Leanardo Di Caprio taking a date to the premier and by the the film had finished his date was too old for him.

Classic gangster movie is Angels with Dirty Faces.
I also live The Sting which is a bit more light hearted but not ultimately 'gangster'.
I thought the Irishman was very good but too long.
