Danny Welbeck
Just seen this clown playing for the Arse, what a liability. If this idiot goes to the world cup they don't deserve to get past the first round.

I'd much rather we take a gamble on Wilshere than some of the bang average names Moyes is reportedly keen on.

'because nobody seriously tried to take Wilshere off Arsenal’s hands'

How would you know?

Re: Danny Welbeck
Ha ha, those gifted with 20/20 hindsight can gainsay the general view of Wilshere from last summer but during the previous season at Bournemouth the player was often injured and not showing much form to the point where he was not Howe’s first choice.

Wenger got him back ( significantly the Saintly Howe, having had him for a season never made a play for him ) and with a season left on his contract had nothing to lose. And wonder of wonders the lad has had, by his standards, a comparatively injury free season. So it appears that not only do most of us posters on here know nothing about football it’s also the people running PL clubs too because nobody seriously tried to take Wilshere off Arsenal’s hands.

Re: Danny Welbeck
Wilshere has played 30+ games this season
Understand he has been offered a new contract and even with a new manager I can’t see him leaving Arsenal.

Has to be in the World Cup squad especially now Oxlade is out.
I’d guess only Smalling and Cahill that play any sort of role for teams in the top 6 might miss out.

Re: Danny Welbeck
Wilshere is probably the most talented CM England have had for many years, but I believe the reason many turned their noises up was 'coz of his injury record and him not doing that great at Bournemouth, which is fair imo.....and no, I wasn't one of them.

The majority of posters on this site don't know the first thing about football. Just read Infidel's last few football related posts as a marker.

The vast majority of posters on here turned their noses up at him last summer, wansteadman.

To be fair there will be very few players who will genuinely seem unlucky not to go.
Are there 23 Englishmen starting every week in the Premier League?

I bet he's on the plane to Russia.

Arsenal signing him would have been a litter pill for their fans to swallow. He’s their Hugill

Re: Danny Welbeck
Sort of player Moyes would love. Completely unspectacular and a terrible finisher, but runs about a lot and works hard.
