Frank Lampard (Junior)
Second interview for Ipswich Manager.

Once Franks has cut his teeth be could be ready in a couple of years just in time to take over from Pellegrini?

Loads on here wanting a younger manager. How many would be up for Frank as West Ham manager?

It wasn't really disallowed though, was it.

I'll give you Chelsea, but success with England! I will certainly question that.

He was woeful in the important games for the national team. Hence why we have won or done fuck all since Italy 1990.

Derby County want him apparently. Let's hope they get it wrong again in their pursuit of Premier League football.

Never saw FLJ at WHUFC...
BUT ...no one can question his syccess at Chelsea and England...
Stars alone are top drawer...
Seen little of him as a pundit...but clearly a clever bloke...
Hope he does well...it's all down to motivation and hard work...

Was hoping he was going to take Claude Makelele from Swansea to be his assistant.
Claude could do all the coaching , pick the team, handle training , arrange transfers and deal with the owners.
While Frank did the interviews and lifted the trophies.

No longer in contention for the job,so junior can carry on with his punditry.

Close thread.

Re: Frank Lampard (Junior)
Thought he was crap for us, even worse for England but stick him in a team of world class players and what do you know he starts looking half decent. Him and his old man can both fuck right off as van any so called West ham fan that talks about his playing days with us as anything higher than average.

His punditry on the other hand is pretty good. All that good schooling he got on while nicking a living for uncle Harry clearly paid off.

TM.
Yeh, agreed.
Had a good shot on him. Always needed half hour to hit it or from a dead ball though. As you say he didn't ave much more so just don't get him being put on a par with the great players at that time.
Still, let's see if he cuts it with the Tolly Cobbold lot.

Takashi Miike 7:11 Tue May 22
Re: Frank Lampard (Junior)
wanstead, he was a great finisher and had a superb shot but to me that was his game. he offered not much more but was very good at taking chances, bit like nolan but a bit more mobile

Re: Frank Lampard (Junior)
Carried by others most of the time. Went missing in big games.
Late goal (dead ball/tap in), get the headlines and the sheep in the football world thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Lazy, lucky, OVERRATED tosser.

never said shit, just fortunate to play in a system where had very little responsibility other than to get to the second ball and shoot

Gerrard's doing it, so Fatty has to, obviously!

While both were great players, Gerrard is a leader and people will be inspired by him and by all accounts, Scouse has all the traits to become a good manager according to his colleagues.

Fair play to Fats though, never expected him to go for it.
