Im mixed as a fit Andy Carroll is a huge boost, but its a huge "if" Will the injury curse finally be lifted, im not convinced, be a bit gut wrenching if does go and then finds a long injury spell elsewhere though.

We need Allardyce to get a job before Jan transfer window so him and his mate / andys agent can screw over his new club and we can earn a couple of mill.
If not the David’s will wince at losing their big investment for free and so give him another two years which will be spent in the physio room or pub.
The other scenario is that he goes for free and as this is West Ham , he has an injury free couple of seasons and becomes the leagues top scorer and rockets Newcastle to the champions league.
We have to hope and pray for Allardyce to save us from the murky shit he created in the first place.

Carroll will have a storming 6 weeks, West Ham will panic and give him the 2 yrs, Someone will come in with a big offer, and he'll get injured

He can be devastating at times but when you play against Carroll you have to win the second ball as the chances are you will not win the header.
As much as I would like to see a fit AC do 30 games in a season that isnt going to happen, like the other sicknotes its time to cut your losses no matter what the sentiment.

Why would he take a pay as you play when he could go to a lower prem, higher championship team and be guaranteed a salary no matter what?
