Gary Neville on BBC
|
Anyone see it?
Whatever you think of his punditry, the bloke clearly gives a shit and speaks brilliantly at how people connect to footballers but not politicians.
Shame he isn't in politics, he'd make a massive impact
You cunts?

Given what Come On You Brolly has already posted on here (style, content and timing) you can write off at least 75% of the Fortune 500 list as potential "clients" of his.
He will divulge more about himself over the next few weeks as it's in his psychological make-up to big himself up in whatever environment he finds himself.

Yes, and you know you're talking absolute nonsense to try and gain some sort of respect from people.
It's weird and quite pathetic really.

You can think it's a lie if you like. I know the truth, son.
Now get back to those deckchairs, they won't sell themselves.

Another lie.
I just find it really strange as to why you'd want to try and "big" yourself up to a bunch of people on a football forum.

I don't lie, son.
Suffice to say, I contract for a large Fortune 500 multinational corporation. That's all I'm willing to disclose.

Haha, I knew you were going to say that.
We all know you do not "consult", Irons.
Not sure why you feel the need to lie about what you do on an internet forum, as you say.

Why do you want to know, Block? I'm not comfortable sharing specifics on an internet forum.

Well "face fitting" is an component of the workplace that cannot be denied alongside backstabbing, office politics, rivalry etc. However, due to the beauty of capitalism there is a multitude of companies and industries to explore if one's face doesn't fit within one company or industry.

It's funny how COYI goes from being all chatty, lauding himself up to complete silence when you ask him a direct question.

"However, there is to a large degree equality of opportunity in the workplace and anyone who works hard and wants to strive in 21st Century Britain can succeed". -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Perhaps in some fields?
In Big (and Medium and Small) Pharma we don't care how hard people have worked, if your face doesn't fit, you're not coming in.

"Looks like rain, sir. Better take your umbrella."
"Eh? Sir doesn't have an umbrella? May I suggest that you make a choice from this fine extensive range I have in the back of my non-leased van over here? I can give sir a very special price."

"is that a large big-mac meal sir"
___
If that lame attempt at humour was directed at me, here's some facts for you, son.
I come from a humble, East End, white working class background. I worked hard at school to get superb GCSE and A level results and was the first person in my entire family (extended, not just nuclear) to go to university. I got a superb grade in my undergraduate degree and a superb grade in my masters degree, both from top UK universities.
Then I entered the workforce, worked hard to climb the ladder and now, two decades later, I command a six figure salary in excess of £100,000.00 per annum.
I am a case in point that striving, working hard and overcoming humble origins can reap rewards in modern Britain.

Neville is becoming one of the better 'Do as I say not as I do' merchants.
A bit like that needy cunt who's heading up Insulate Britain, who's not even had his leafy SW London home insulated.
Problem is with football in general, everyone in the business is scared to offer a different opinion to the going narrative (just like with the kneeling bollocks) for fear of losing their jobs. So no one will dare question what this plank is saying.
