Re: Potter Out
I've wanted Silva for years. I feel like he knows he's probably taken Fulham as far as he can. We're a shambles atm but there's a higher ceiling here if (big if I know) we can get our crap in order. Just pay the 8 million if there's a chance of getting him in now. If we're prepared to pay 20 millio...

Re: West Ham vs Palace | PL | 20.9.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
Was so bored in the first half I genuinely lost interest watching it. Kilman is a disgrace of a defender, manages to give away a corner when he heads in directly back into the danger area under no pressure at all. Then promptly gets bullied a minute later for the goal. Coward of a player. Diouf and ...

Re: West Ham Statement
I disagree that they don't care or just ignore bad press. They hate it! They don't like that their usual mouthpieces are also calling them out. They were desperate to stop the last march and unfortunately it all ran out of steam in the end. They are squirming now, hence the statement and trying to m...

Re: West Ham Statement
Just spin and very half-hearted promises (if you can call it that) with very little concrete plans. One easy win for the stadium would be knocking that stupid wall down. Don't really understand what they mean by fan zones? Is that a dedicated singing section or something in the concourse/outside the...

Re: West Ham U21s
Fearon looks a top prospect, I am struggling to see why you'd not give him a chance over someone like Prowse. Constantly passing and moving, looks a lot better than the slow static midfield we've got atm. I know MK Dons probably put out a 2nd string but really positive from the youngsters (plus Fab)

Re: If Potter would get sacked who would you want IN to replace him?
Heard a horrible rumour that Gary O Neill would be the choice if Potter goes. This would be Sullivan all over and would be the final nail in the coffin for me in terms of going over there anymore. 25 years a season ticket holder and never thought I'd consider giving it up

Re: Welcome Mateus Fernandes
I think it's a good signing, he's not going to transform the midfield on his own but he's a big step up on what we have. With Mangassa, we are at least looking at the right profiles (young, hungry, mobile players), even if we've spent a fair bit on Fernandes. Judging by the initial comments from Sai...

Guilherme impressed as well they had to resort to taking him out a couple of times. Seems to glide past people. Got to get more of a look in this season, just whether he can fit into potters system

Re: West Ham Vs Everton | Friendly | 30.7.25 23:30 | Match Thread
Watching that reminds me how glad I am that we don't have Moyes as manager anymore. Everton looked awful just a few hot and hope passes. A couple of bad challenges from their players. Felt sorry for Casey never really recovered from his mistake. Potts looks like he can make the step up. Not bad from...

Re: West Ham vs Manchester United | Pre-Season Friendly | 26.07.2025
It's only a friendly but can't understand how potter thinks a midfield 3 of Guido, Soucek and James ward side pass is going to compete against anyone. Overrun as anyone could've predicted, I'm hoping it's just a last look at them to confirm they're not good enough. Really impressed with Fearon comin...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
I think towards the end of the season Scarles looked a bit shakier and maybe lost that confidence to drive forward as much as he did first few games. Potter might have told him to stop doing it as much and slow it down? Who knows but I think he will be a solid backup once Emerson goes

Re: Sullivan out!
Very few fanbases turn up in their numbers the way we do even when we get treated to this nonsense so often. Can only think of the geordies during Mike Ashley era but they're a one club city. The place is going to be seriously toxic if we get off to a bad start but looking at the fixtures, it's hard...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
Never particularly taken to Kudus with stupid goal celebrations (or non-celebrations). However, there's definitely a player there. Was great first season but like many players last season, looked lost most of the time. I think he'd do well in a better side and it's inconceivable that we would sell t...

Plus she gets a massive bonus and payrise every year. It's mostly a part time gig for her while she does The Apprentice, writes articles for the Sun etc. All the while, she's never secured us any decent sponsorship deals. Relative to the size of the club, it's always peanuts. Less said about the sta...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
Surprised how many people turning their nose up at Brownhill. Admittedly not the most exciting signing but will be a strong squad option, I am sure he won't be the only one that we buy in central midfield. Someone we should be all over is Tanganga from Millwall. Will be good to get a strong English...

Re: Didn't think I could hate Arsenal any more than I already did...
I think Arteta has made them more unbearable, winds me up seeing him basically on the pitch on the side, not sure how he gets away with it. Their fans were slating Rice not so long ago and now they got him half price, as fickle as Spurs

'insert any town here 's a shithole, I wanna go home. Boring, shit song. Same applies for how shite must you be we're winning away/ at home. Oh when the spurs boring slow version that they tried to make a club anthem. North London forever, cringey. You could pretty much pick any Arsenal or Spurs so...

Re: West Ham vs Brentford | League | 15.2.25 | Predictions & Match Thread
The insistence on playing out of the back is what winds me up. The first 10-15 mins were pretty much half of the Brentford team camped outside our area waiting for the goal kick and still we insist on putting our entire defence under massive pressure by still passing it to someone at the back. We ha...

Most horrible whiney accent in England. Aside from the Alvarez obvious 2nd yellow I couldn't really work out what they are getting so wound up about all game. Maybe not smashing lowly West Ham. They've got short memories from empty seats galore in their relegation fights to closing a whole tier in t...

Re: Lanzini or Benayoun
Lanzini for me, was just getting better and better pre-injury. I remember the Argie team looking despondent after the news of his injury, had a big part to play at that world cup before then. He was linking up brilliantly with Arnautovic for a while, the kinds of players we are desperate for now. B...

Re: West Ham vs Fulham | PL | 14.1.25 | Predictions, Lineups and Match Thread
Managed to ride out the first nervy 20 minutes and then looked so much more like a team for the rest of the game. Paqueta was back to his old self and brilliant in the air, feels better with him further up not giving away the ball in dangerous areas. He took a hell of a lot of kicks and won us some ...

I am actually looking forward to going to games again. Given some of the other awful names I have seen linked with us, I think this is a good appointment for where we are at right now. Re: Lopetegui
From the outset this was apparently a manager that plays boring football but nicks results based on a solid defence. He insisted on Kilman and for that alone he needs sacking, a fraud of a cb who just sat there looking gormless instead of putting any pressure on them for the 2nd goal. I feel sorry f...
