Great finish and move by Ferguson for Ireland. He was about to be subbed having done very little up to then. 

Given that it's three weeks until our next match and that Ferguson is likely to play twice for the Republic of Ireland in the next week, it could be that he either approaches match fitness or breaks down by the time we play again. If he can get more match time and maybe a goal or two in those games,...

Their owner died in a helicopter crash straight after a game between us and them. I don't think Soucek had joined us at that stage (maybe he had). Credit to whoever pointed this out to him at the club if he didn't know himself. Details like that are important.

Here he is not scoring against us two seasons ago. These are brief highlights but he was an absolute handful for our defence and could have had a hat trick. Looked very impressive then...

Irish radio just reported that Bayer Leverkusen are the favourites to sign Ferguson on loan. No sources quoted. 

I think we'll win this match comfortably. Leicester are dreadful and we have shown signs of improvement that lead me to think we'll demolish some team when it clicks. I may, of course, be very wrong but that's my thoughts on the matter.

I'd love West Ham to go for Evan Ferguson. He's a great all round striker who probably needs a move to reanimate him. I speak as an Ireland fan too. He's the best we have currently when he's on his game. Probably a better prospect long term than Delap or probably Duran in my opinion.

I'd like to see Guillerme given at least half an hour to see if he's a player. Hopefully we're still in the game if he does get a chance.
