EOB - Ed O'Brien Band Earth Album best I have heard in a long while Radiohead guitarist Olympik is a killer track with the fantastic rhythm section of Omar Karim on drums and Nathan East on bass

"defjam 2:55 Wed Jun 3 Blimey, someone else remembers him. The kid (my age!) had skills. Thought he was going to be massive after The Devil Made Me Do It.. then he went a bit Icke."

Bungo same here.. it came through my letterbox this morning. So of course I bunged it on. Think I'm inclined to agree with you about if being a bit better than Moving Pictures. Its certainly better than Hemispheres as well imo

weststandboy I realise now what I said wasn't correct. Its certainly the case with A Natural Disaster and Judgement imo But We're Here Because We're Here imo has the weaker tracks at the start but the 2nd half of the album is excellent.

Dm Funnily enough the latest album which has all sorts of awards and plaudits heaped on it I think is one of their weakest for me. Weather systems definitely bucks the start off well then fade trend with last track Internal Landscapes which is stunning what with the 'afterlife' voiceover.

J.J Cale / Call Me The Breeze The Lynyrd Skynyrd cover is the better version though.

Manning the ragged curtain sounds like a particularly unsavoury euphemism.
