Bungo same here.. it came through my letterbox this morning. So of course I bunged it on. Think I'm inclined to agree with you about if being a bit better than Moving Pictures. Its certainly better than Hemispheres as well imo

weststandboy I realise now what I said wasn't correct. Its certainly the case with A Natural Disaster and Judgement imo But We're Here Because We're Here imo has the weaker tracks at the start but the 2nd half of the album is excellent.

Dm Funnily enough the latest album which has all sorts of awards and plaudits heaped on it I think is one of their weakest for me. Weather systems definitely bucks the start off well then fade trend with last track Internal Landscapes which is stunning what with the 'afterlife' voiceover.

J.J Cale / Call Me The Breeze The Lynyrd Skynyrd cover is the better version though.

Manning the ragged curtain sounds like a particularly unsavoury euphemism.

"weststandboy I do find Anathema albums have a bit of a tendency to start off strongly, but the last two or three tracks tend to be a bit dull. That's certainly the case with A Natural Disaster and Judgement imo what do you think?"

Smashing Pumpkins - Pisces Iscariot Includes a good cover of Fleetwood Macs 'Landslide'.
