"It's hard to describe what we do as football because in order to do that, we would have to have the football. What we do is run around a bit while the other team has the ball. That's bad enough if we were organised, defended well and on the odd occasion we had the ball, managed to break and score. When you don't have the ball, are disorganised, and can't defend it is appalling. I've been late to the party on this but today was as bad a defensive performance and team organisation as when Avram Grant was here and his time at the training ground was spent sleeping in his office. Moyes is increasingly l9king like a man who needs to go."

"The fella I know is good mates with Barry Ashby (harrisons dad) Ashby left simply down to Moyes. Moyes offered him assurances that he would be part of the set up this season after doing well for the under 21's. He was willing to sign a new deal but waited to see if Moyes was true to his word. After pre season and the first few games of the season and it was clear he wasn't going to get a look in he decided his time was up. Emerson coming in aswell didn't help as it meant Johnson wouldn't be used that side as much, so it was 3 players going for the RB spot. He Wasn't going to sign the deal and sounded out clubs. Newcastle appealed to him as he likes Trippier as a player and Howe has used youth in the past such as David Brooks. Sheffield United came in but he preferred Newcastle. Moyes has even said that the club offered him a deal but he refused it and wanted to leave. Alot of the other younger players were offered moves and took the same though process as Ashby. There is a worry within the club that the youth setup will get left behind, hence Noble coming in and seemingly trying to bridge the gap. Mubama apparently is also getting frustrated and wants a loan move away, he has said that he thinks he deserves a place on the bench at least due to his goalscoring record in recent months, he wants to kick on and get experience of playing in a good solid league. Gillingham were interested but decided to go down the experienced striker route and got in Aidan O'brien instead."

"Even if Sullivan does decide to sack, we know that he won't go for anyone without Premier League experience (like that somehow guarantees anything - Moyes only falls behind Fergie and Wenger on amount of PL games managed) nor will he pay compensation to get a manager out of another club. So I'm guessing it's Benitez if he does pull the trigger. Which is so ridiculously uninspiring. I am at a point though, where I think it is very important the players hear another voice now though. We've got on the full on Sunderland version of Moyes now and he needs to go."

"I think he may actually go if its clear and obvious that he's lost the players' respect, and today showed they really cant be arsed to play for him - in fact they managed to be even worse after the HT Team talk. Performances like that are not going to win you another point all season."

It's incredible that the club will waste over 100 million on under par players but won't splash out 7 million to sack the imbecile in charge. Clubs really shoot themselves in the foot with contracts. How can you get a pay off of 7 million if you aren't doing your job to the required standard? Wouldn't happen in any other industry.

Steve In part what you have said is true. Dyche wanted the job and would have taken it if we had lost to Everton. There were a couple of high profile managers who also would have taken the job in November. There are a few who are waiting to step in now.

"Just spoken to a mate of mine who is well connected in football, more within coaching and scouting than anything else. He said that even at other clubs the are surprised that Moyes has kept his job and those at Southampton and Leeds in particular were worried that Moyes was on his way out, hence why they moved first to try and get ahead of the curve. Sean Dyche even had conversations with people and expected Moyes to go, he wanted the job here and waited a few days before accepting the Everton job as it was clear Moyes wasn't that close to the door. From what he can gather Sullivan really is gambling that Moyes will keep us up, Sullivan is known to be one of these chairman that doesn't like sacking a manager during the season, this is nothing new as shown by previous years. He said that the result today could force Sullivan into a move but wouldn't be surprised if the 3 game mantra that has been touted before comes into effect. Games against City, arsenal etc are write offs, it's the ones against villa and Southampton that will seal his fate Don't go shooting the messenger, just passing on some information I personally hope it's wrong and Sullivan fucks him off tonight"

Sullivan has never cared about West Ham United. Why would he start now. That he looking at week's before he sells up.? This is a land grab. And has always been so. The fact a football team plays it's games on said land is a minor inconvenience too Sullivan. And even more so as the days go past. Please. Don't get your hopes up. He going to bin Moyes. Because he ain't. We are riding on this nag. All the way to the finishing line.

I can accept us losing . I've seen enough of it. but the one thing I cannot accept is cowardice this side is the mirror image of that clown in charge.

Has to go. Should have gone at World Cup when couple of top managers were up for the job. It is so bad it is worth the risk of making a change. Moyes blamed playing a strong team on Wednesday. Why not mix it up today then?

"claypole 8:08 Sat Mar 4 As horrible as that game was to watch against Hull, at least BFS actually got the result that night. Moyes is pulling from the same playbook after a 4-0 defeat and somehow finding a way to drop the standards even lower than the turgid shit that's been served up for the vast majority of this season already (and the second half of last season). You can tell the arrogant cսnt genuinely thinks we should be grateful and get behind him due to how we were performing about 18 months ago now."

"Sullivan has got us into a right pickle now. Moyes should have gone before the World Cup and after the Leicester game. We have seem some improvement during the draws against Newcastle and Chelsea and the win against Forest. However, the way have collapsed against Spurs, Man Utd and today against Brighton when going behind is a real concern. It's obvious he has to go, even more so when you criticise the best fans around.. But who the hell do we replace him with and who would want it? Sullivan if he could would get someone short term of course. G iven a fair chunk of our remaining games are against teams around us so it is in our hands the players anyway!"

I don't blame any of the players. They do what the boss says and they get picked. If the boss doesn't like what they do he doesn't play them. Antonio already said that they follow his tactics so it's all on Moyes. If the players don't want to work hard it's down to the manager to make it happen. No one has a job where you continually don't do what the boss tells you to do. He's been there for 3 years. It's ALL HIM. I just hate how he tries to weasel out of taking all the responsibility. I hate all this feeling sorry for leadership crap that's going on in this world. That's why they get paid stupid money! To lead and take full responsibility.
