Goose why do you make light of someone inciting to kill by calling it scary words?

We could be mistaken into thinking that you have sympathy with her racist views.

Surely if anything is two tier it is you, coyi, in the way you post because nobody has been jailed for protesting. You know this full well because lots of people protested within the confines of what is deemed legal. Its the people who went beyond legal protest that are being brought to justice.

I think you know full well that 'what is deemed legal' is at the behest of those in authority and that is where the issue lies.

It seems those in authority think it's ok for powerful members of the elite to pay paedophiles for graphic images of children being abused and NOT jail them. While others (plebs) get locked up for tweets and Facebook comments.

Modern society is truly insane.

He paid for 41 images of children, some between 7 and 9 years old, showing penetration, and didn't get put away.

Compared to 3 years someone got for a tweet.

It's so bonkers I don't think even comma could defend it.

You were right, but he didn't get off because he has a few quid and is a newsreader, the judge wouldn't give a fuck about that, if anything he would make an example of the cսnt. It just seems this type of offence isn't treated seriously in the UK.

I can see there being a huge outcry over this and Starmer will question the sentence, there will be a review, he'll get a custodial sentence and the judge will turn out to be a bit, you know, dodgy !

Because of his high status, his fame, his wealth and the 'contrition' he has shown (after getting caught, charged and convicted, that is).
Since when has that mattered in the UK? I mean about his wealth/fame. Bigger people that him have got bird. Anyway, I just read that if Edwards does get sentenced to prison, the maximum he could get from the magistrates' court is 12 months, so a load of bollocks anyway.
The BBC just reported that the maximum sentence is up to 10 years, so I'm not sure where you got 12 months from.

BBC: "...while the maximum sentence is 10 years, for the category of offending - making of indecent images - the range is up to three years. The significant aggravating factor is that the images were moving images".What could the sentence be?published at 08:14 British Summer Time08:14 BSTImageHelena WilkinsonIf Edwards does get sentenced to prison, the maximum he could get from the magistrates' court is 12 months. As we just reported, that's the total sentence magistrates can hand down to an offender for more than one offence.
