Had another look at The American, with George Clooney. Nothing great, but thought it had a good atmosphere about it, with some good shots of some Italian towns.

Watched gladiator 2 last night.
Decent film but completely let down by weak as piss performance by lead actor who was appalling.

Denzil Washington was excellent though.

I saw it a fortnight ago. It was so forgettable I've just had to Wiki it to remind me of the story. I did remember McAvoy was in it.

In all honesty, it was an OK way to pass a rainy afternoon, but only if you got the 5 quid tickets and didn't buy any food or drink.

I watched 'It's What's Inside' the other day. For a debut film it's both shot really well and written well. It's a good mix of sci fi mystery and dark comedy.

Finished first series of Blue Lights  - I started to struggle with it a bit and the hour long episodes. I get they are trying to make it feel 'real' grizzly Belfast, and all that, but ultimately the viewer wants to be entertained, it's just a bit too 'serious' and in some a little depressing. Line of Duty is way better.

Caddo Lake is interesting. I don't want to spoil it but getting to grips with the "time thing" can be confusing. Probably one to watch twice.

Phoenix is a self-obsessed cսnt from a family of self-obsessed cunts who can't read a room to save his life.

Golden Globes:

Ricky Gervais - spends 20 mins ripping apart Hollywood actors who think they have a 'message' and the God-annointed right to bore us all to death with it.

First up (yes, first up) Joachim Phoenix - blah, blah, blah, the rain forest, blah, blah, blah...

Fuck off.

That's 95% of the  film industry summed up right there..

I guess great films were   the payoff.?

ALL of the antics the screen legends of 40/50/60/70/80/90/00/s  got upto  make David Sullivan  the Archangel St Michael
And that's just the birds

Finally got round to watching Wolverine and Deadpool, fell asleep, shite.

Joker was awful so won't go near the second one, its for people who self diagnose themselves with mental health issues, when really they are just cunts who keep fucking up their life and get on it most weekends.
A killers memory...good shout.
pleasantly surprised ..
