Re: Paqueta
It’s interesting it’s always the same emotionally retarded type that wants him benched for the same reactive reasons. Think it’s more their way of making some kind of contact with each other rather than anything to do with what is actually happening on the field of play.

Re: Paqueta
Has 2 goals and 1 assist.
I like watching skilful players.
I'd also say looking at our squad is there better to replace Paqueta in his present form? I think only Bowen is doing better.
It is truely sad what Lopetegui is getting from our recognised tallent.

Re: Paqueta
He hasn't really created much seeing as he's supposed to be our most creative player. Don't know what his problem is but he hardly merits a place in the team, bench warmer at best ATM.
Hope he turns some sort of corner soon.

He started last season on fire he had the best stats for any midfielder in the top 5 leagues in Europe, in fact he was so shit City were gonna buy him for £85 million.. Since then he has fallen off a cliff.
So he was in his best form for us when the accusations went against him.
But he's still involved in a large percentage of our goals. I thought he'd improved at home to Everton where he created three good chances and was Motm against Newcastle where he had most passes, most tackles won and created the most chances... I was hoping he'd finally turned a corner.. Wont judge him against Arsenal because the whole team were shit.
STILL refusing to criticize him despite doing fuck all for a year and costing us numerous goals with his appalling ''passing''. Some of you cult followers are just bizarre and wouldn't change your mind even if he scored a hattrick of own goals against Spurs.

Re: Paqueta
I think he underestimated the seriousness of it all from the beginning and thought it would soon blow over. Longer it's gone on though, the severity then dawned on him and struggled to shake it off ever since.

Re: Paqueta
Motivation is definitely an issue though I don’t think its lack stems so much from the failed move to Man City as having to play for managers who can’t use him properly.

Re: Paqueta
I think at first the accusations and interest from M City motivated Paqueta, but as it has dragged on and limited his career he has lost form. I hope he sues the cunts behind it all.

Before then he was quality for us most games, helping us to win a pot. He was key to all that.
Sadly now hes gone to rat shit since the FA have been on his case. Such a West Ham thing to happen when we finally get nice things to enjoy..Utter fucking nonsense. Stop making excuses for him, this cult following he has is just fucking weird off the back a few half decent games way back. He went to shit way before this charge, and why would you not be able to pass a ball to a team mate because of it? Never heard such bollocks in all my time. The reality is he's only ever had about max 10 good games for us and when he finally goes he will quickly be forgotten about.
5 goals, 7 assists as well as contributed a lot towards us winning a Cup and generally entertained a lot of the time too in his debut season before the scandal broke. I can think of a lot worse debut seasons for us. But since the scandal broke, nothing at all seems to come off for him anymore. He's never been perfect but when he's fully focused and on form, he is a joy to watch and can cause Teams a lot of problems. I doubt we'll ever see that again though.

Re: Paqueta
All going a bit like Anderson.
Brazilian signed for big money. Sets the world alight and then turns bang average.
Really would not care if he went elsewhere in Jan as he is way off it.

That should give you a bit of much-needed clarity on Paqueta’s performance (albeit below-par).lets see all the goals that paqueta was involved in then............... top of my head i can think of one (second goal at newcastle).
Off the top of my head Brentford for Souceks as well, but then I'm struggling to think of all these hatful of goals he has had a part to play in the build up.

I'm hoping the spell on the bench was the kick up the arse he needed. Was long overdue but glad it finally happened.

In a nutshell, his shitty performances.

I'm sure, for him, it wouldn't have been too difficult to take a sneaky booking,.
Ah i said to my mate 'Paqueta is flying around on a mission to get booked'
Makes sense now, he was trying to be fair to him

Thought he looked very motivated when he was subbed on in Leicester. I would definitely start him on Monday.

Re: Paqueta
I read first he was told he could do the the questions in parliament by video link so he didn't miss the game. Then he was told he didn't have to do it if he didn't want to, so he said he didn't want to be questioned and is no longer going to be questioned.
The fucking FA is the only organisation in the world taking this seriously. No trails in Brazil. Spanish, just ignore Luis Henrique where there is apparently more evidence. It's typical British to take this nonsense seriously.
