I like the look of Levi Garcia if were buying in January. We won't have much to spend and he looks to have something about him in the way of strength and pace, like Antonio.

Didn't Villa keep bumping up the price everytime we went back to them? What was the actual chance they'd have sold at the price we walked away from?

For the right price, yes I'd be very happy with that. Don't see him leaving Villa though whilst flying in the Champions League. Be very surprised he left now.

I wonder what old, expensive striker who's on their way down we can sign in January on a ridiculously long contract?

Sullivan the huge stinking turd that blocks the toilet and can never be flushed.

Let's console ourselves in the knowledge he'd have probably done his cruciate ligaments within 30 minutes of him making his debut for us anyway.

But yeah this looks like an ugly mistake now. Well done Sullivan- again.

FullCrock is slow but reasonably big. Chris Woods type?  But in his brief appearances early on he looked well off the pace of the Premiership so 3 months out wont help. Suspect 5 mins off the bench at most esp if we’re losing

He'll be as useful as all our other ageing strikers, I reckon.

And if we're honest, we'll happily move on from all of them.
He's got more pedigree than the others and is 'younger' tbf..

Just saying that it's not too fanciful to say that he could come in and be useful.
Has he got more pedigree than Ings I'm not sure, he scored 22 goals in a PL season for Southampton. I don't think he has anything like that on his CV.

But you're right hopefully the fact that it was an awful transfer overall doesn't mean we can't Hooe that he can pop in a few for us, we desperately need him to.

Though I've seen nothing from him so far that suggests he will, he looked like he was struggling to get the pace of the league, now he has to do so coming back from an injury.

I really hope he can.
He's got better pedigree in the international arena, but yea it's more hope than anything else. I can't really remember how he looked in the mins he played earlier in the season. Anyway, Massive is now saying he's not back tonight after all, fucking ridiculous.

A terrible signing, all considered, yes, but assuming he's now ready he could he be useful, knock in a few goals and give us another much needed option up top? I don't see why not??
