Goalkeeper positioning not good but still just has a wicked shot.  To think Sullivan was reluctant to spend that much on unproven Prem player. 5 million short but allegedly advised by Salthouse that 40 million was too much.  Amourim similar, too risky, no Prem experience, too young.  Just denied a second by offside call on the assist.  Leipzig cannot handle Duran.

FullCrock is slow but reasonably big. Chris Woods type?  But in his brief appearances early on he looked well off the pace of the Premiership so 3 months out wont help. Suspect 5 mins off the bench at most esp if we’re losing

He'll be as useful as all our other ageing strikers, I reckon.

And if we're honest, we'll happily move on from all of them.

He's got more pedigree than the others and is 'younger' tbf..

Just saying that it's not too fanciful to say that he could come in and be useful.

Has he got more pedigree than Ings I'm not sure, he scored 22 goals in a PL season for Southampton. I don't think he has anything like that on his CV.

But you're right hopefully the fact that it was an awful transfer overall doesn't mean we can't Hooe that he can pop in a few for us, we desperately need him to. 

Though I've seen nothing from him so far that suggests he will, he looked like he was struggling to get the pace of the league, now he has to do so coming back from an injury. 

I really hope he can. 

He's got better pedigree in the international arena, but yea it's more hope than anything else. I can't really remember how he looked in the mins he played earlier in the season. Anyway, Massive is now saying he's not back tonight after all, fucking ridiculous.

Saying that is was a shocking transfer (old, expensive etc) and therefore completely writing him off, and that he won't be any use to us at all, shouldn't be mutually exclusive, in my humble..

A terrible signing, all considered, yes, but assuming he's now ready he could he be useful, knock in a few goals and give us another much needed option up top? I don't see why not??
