Went there quite a bit in the 80's, knew it as the Kilburn ballroom. Got a bit edgy in some of the local boozers, heavily frequented by pro IRA types.

The only one from that scene I saw live was Pearl Jam, but that was late 90s. Not sure why I bothered as I stopped buying their albums when the drummer Dave was sacked, but they were still very good on the night

I remember the confusion when On Parole came out as there was no advance information, everyone just assumed it was a 'new' Motorhead album. Lots of confusion when it became apparent that there was so much overlap with the 'Motorhead' album.
