Had enough of this arogrant no mark now.
11 games, 27% win ratio and 0.66 goals per game.
Either the break clause is true or this flake quits otherwise were proper fucked.

If thaat's true sounds like Sullivan's trying to get him to walk.
I know it’s not your rumour, TC, but that sounds like complete BS to me. No football club on the planet makes those sorts of decisions so quickly after a game. Not least because the way the board is currently comprised, Sullivan would probably need to discuss it with Kretinsky, the Golds and others first. Even if it was just a courtesy.

Re: Potter Out
I can’t believe that’s true, but you never know with this car crash ownership.
There was a bit of talk before Lopetegui got sacked that Sullivan wanted to wait until the summer for Max Allegri. I wish he had waited!!

Re: Potter Out
As someone who’s backed Potter and defended him constantly, even I’ve now lost patience. Travelled up from Somerset today, still on the train as I’m typing and that was so painful to watch today. So passive, slow and lacking any ideas, Southampton actually deserved to win

Somebody whose sole purpose is to get the team on the front foot, not playing low-tempo crab football in ineffective or passive areas of the pitch. We offer almost nothing in the final third.
Potter’s already facing a similar position to Allardyce, when he got forced to bring Sheringham in as a coach to improve the team’s attacking intent.
It’s pretty obvious Potter struggles in attack. Brighton’s crowd got frustrated with it, Chelsea sacked him for it - and he’s already brought the same shit here. Looks like he’s learned nothing from his nightmare at Chelsea. All that money, and a ‘head coach’ needs to bring in an attacking coach to help him?
fuck that shit.
he could lose every game left this season & we still won’t sack him. It's a great idea, Teddy is probably bored of golf, horses and centreforce over 60s raves now. Bring him back as attacking coach, he'd make a fortune playing poker on the team bus.
Haha! Let me be clear: I’m not saying we should offer a job to Teddy. Although the card games would get interesting!

Re: Potter Out
Yep, it’s looking like it. This guy is so passive it’s painful.
Possession, yes. But low-tempo crab football mostly in passive areas of the pitch. It was EXACTLY his problem at Chelsea.
Few chances created, few shots on goal and few goals. We all know where that ends. There was a period when Brighton’s fans used to beg players to shoot, and he fucking whined about it.
Its not too late to do something about it.

If the Potter cսnt has any balls at all the first thing he needs to do Monday morning is put the armband on Fulle. Bowen can stay club captain for the sake of appearances but on the pitch Fullkrug runs the show.
Won't happen with this nutless cսnt in charge.

Re: Potter Out
Fullkrug’s interview was telling. The frustration with the application of the team’s tactics is evident.
His explanation accurately reflected what we saw. But it’s not good enough against an already-relegated, and very poor, side.

Re: Potter Out
of course the biggest problem is the owner and his sidekick, but they're not going anywhere soon. to be honest, the club is dead while still owned by these cunts. struck in a perpetual mediocre nightmare, where they keep serving up shit manager after shit manager

Had he been on the six monther that Sillycunt Sully wanted him on originally I don't think there's much chance he'd be getting renewed either. It's only the fact we've already binned off one hopeless cսnt already this season that's saving him I suspect. He looks fully out of his depth at the moment and I fear for us next season already. It's going to be a scrap.
All fucking avoidable too. Proper tired of it. We're a shit fucking club top to bottom.

Re: Potter Out
he needs to go. his football is so fucking bad, I preferred lopetegui. I can take mistakes and settling in if he was honest, but the crap he comes out with in interviews and press conferences is pure gaslighting. during the january window "The board couldn't have done more for me", they delivered a cripple from brighton that's yet to play ninety minutes. "Next year you'll see excitement", this from a manager that sees no value in scoring goals, and like the jock worries more about the opposition than the ability of his own players. any footballer in their right mind will be demanding their agent gets them away from this fucking disaster in the summer

Re: Potter Out
Just back from the game.
Another shitshow.
At some point before the end of the season, Potter has to show he has actually improved this side/squad. He’s been managing these players since early January and, while he didn’t sign any of them, all he's done is show he can’t get a better tune out of any of them than Lopetegui.
Right now, he’s an abysmal manager of a side that has somehow got worse than the shit his predecessor served up.
Beginning to think I wouldn’t trust him to spend any money this summer unless he shows he can get something out of this squad - because most of them will still be here next season.

We’re now lumbered with another dud manager who will be waste a ton of money in the summer only to be replaced by Christmas.
You’d be hard pressed to find a football club who make so many bad decisions time after time.
I think this time it’s gonna cost us
all depends on how bad the teams coming up are
