Today's result and the manner of the defeat has knocked the stuffing out of me. Really feel low. We were 3-1 up and always a threat on the break. Should have been a straight swap in midfield or bring Ings on for Antonio. The penalty decision was atrocious and changed the game. I do wonder if there is a deliberate attempt to stop us getting close to the top six as we have had some awful VAR and referee decisions go against in this period over the last few years.

I don't mind protecting a lead when you are 3-1 up away from home but there seems to be this myth especially amongst Moyes supporters in the media that he is a defensively organised and solid manager and yet we have the only minus goal difference in the Top 9 and oddly enough have also scored the second least amount of goals in the Top 9. Out of the Top 9 only the bottom three have conceded more than us.

Smarty Phillips coming on for Antonio was wrong. Phillips not clearing the ball first time like the player he and he Moyes thinks he is is the the issue. What don't you get. I thought the ref was poor but i thought he did well to allow our 2nd to stand another ref would have blown before the ball hit the net.
