FIFA Club World Cup
More pointless football from FIFA which finishes within a month of the next Premier League season starting
On something called DAZN if you are interested… supposedly free if you register but presumably will be hounded for a paid subscription
No network was interested in taking this … so in a clear field DAZN offered $1bn (ONE BILLION DOLLARS)
In an unrelated transaction the Saudi investment fund then took a 10% interest in DAZN for $1bn.
Shortly after FIFA awarded Saudi Arabia the 2034 World Cup

Yeah but apparently we could NEVER get planning permission again to rebuild the Chicken Run, yet they could rebuild the far more complex Boca Juniors East Stand....
It's all LIES, LIES, LIES!

Re: FIFA Club World Cup
Bayern v Boca was a great game.
Kane popped up with an important goal…Olise nicked the winner.
The South American teams are quite impressive, I must say.
Great comp so far. Well done FIFA

Watching the England U19s in the Euros on Beeb iPlayer is much more entertaining. Currently drawing with Germany 5-5 after being 5-1 down!

Re: FIFA Club World Cup
WAS looking at our game in NJ.
Swerved it in the end initially tickets were 188 now 218.
So for 3 of us that is 600 but our game is the late one kick off at 7pm here ish so Ill catch it on peacock instead and put the 600 towards some beers and not trying to get home from NJ at midnight..

Re: FIFA Club World Cup
Was reading that FIFA has a relationship with one of the local colleges / universities
Students were offered 4 free seats if they bought ONE for the equivalent of £14.70
So couldn’t shift them at less than £3 each

I think they had double that for a preseason game against Newcastle two years ago at the same venue. Not sure I'd turn up for one of these games if they paid me $300.
You’d be a proper Chelsea fan if you paid £300 to watch them. Only cunts do that, which sums up Chelsea fans precisely.

Re: FIFA Club World Cup
I had no particular thoughts or feelings about this tournament, it was that irrelevant, before that slap head Infantino piped up comparing it to the actual World Cup.
It pretty much embodies everything I hate about football. I hope it fails miserably, and by the looks of the crowd last night, it is. I hope the viewing figures for it are shit also.

From what I have seen it all looks a bit low key, pre-season friendly type fare.

Re: FIFA Club World Cup
Feels all a bit Super Leaguey through the back door. A load of money grabbing wank and I hope the likes of Chelsea get caught out with burning their players out.

Angry Ginge could put a tackle in. Big lump, e.g, and free. Sullivan will be licking his lips.
