EVERTON vs WEST HAM UNITED (1500)
All about David Moyes. Away win. With luck. A lorra lorra luck.Image

IPSWICH TOWN vs NOTTINGHAM FOREST (1500)
Two favourites for relegation in August. How things change.  Draw.

MANCHESTER CITY vs BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION (1500)
Fly home, you Seagulls, there's nothing for you here. Home win.

SOUTHAMPTON vs WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS (1500)
A decent chance for the Saints. Also a decent chance for the visitors. Draw.

BOURNEMOUTH vs BRENTFORD (1730)
The Bees aren’t great on the road. Home win.

SUNDAY

ARSENAL vs CHELSEA (1330)
El Arse may have lost the will to live. In a footballing sense, of course. Les Bleux have climbed quietly up le table. Draw.

FULHAM vs TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR (1330)
Both these sides are stronger than you might think. Draw.

LEICESTER CITY vs MANCHESTER CITY (1900)
The Foxes are done. Away win.

League Cup Final

LIVERPOOL vs NEWCASTLE UNITED – WEMBERLEY (1630)
Should be a corker. Home win.

I guess if you are going to be abysmal it’s best to do it after 1 game with the window open

Whether Captain Sullivan & band leader Potter can see the approaching iceberg as they pilot the Titanic who knows
Can imagine Captain Sullivan shouting full steam ahead on my course while band leader Potter rouses the orchestra for a chorus of the National anthem as the waves lap around the hems of his polyester trousers. Rodriquez playing the piccolo with JWP on tambourine

Things are certainly not good but I don't see up being relegated. That said it still might be too close for comfort.

The club can see it but they choose to do nothing about it.

Literally felt like another day at the west ham office under Moyes.
I just don’t understand why after about 30yrs in management that is his “answer” to the question “how should football be played”.

That's the exact same argument I'd use against the hypocritical wankers that questioned why fans like me wanted rid of him.

Tut-Tut, you were a minute out! Grealish 71st minute 🤣

'The quality is perhaps not there quite yet, though, with their front three all playing in the Championship last season and yet to prove they can really trouble Everton. Piroe came closest when Pickford saved early on. That is at least more than Everton have offered, with Moyes' men on the back foot almost throughout.'

Same old Moyesy, always boring 😴

This has been a typical West Ham Moyes performance
Absolutely dominated, negative, dull & scared of possession
Always need to remind yourself we conceded 74 goals in his last season & lost 20 league games the season before on 30% possession
Shown nothing & Leeds should be out of sight … 3-0 maybe

And still some pine for Moyes. I was still arguing the toss with some West Ham fans on Saturday that it was right he went despite as recruiting replacements terribly.

We got humbled on Saturday, but at least we didn’t go a sit every man behind the ball and bore our way to a 0-0 against a newly promoted side.

And now 1 down, haha. 85 minutes and not even tried to score. I could not watch that shit any longer than we did.

I’m not sure who is worse, us or Everton? Not a single shot and only 37% possession.

However it’s still 0-0 and it could be a Moyes sucker punch.
