Patriotism
A flag should be about pride. About unity. About celebrating who we are. That’s not what’s happening right now. These England flags going up everywhere? That’s not patriotism. That’s marking territory. That’s sending a message. And the message is ugly: “This is ours. You don’t belong here.”That isn’t pride. That’s fear. That’s exclusion. That’s racism dressed up as tradition.Real patriotism doesn’t slam the door in someone’s face. Real patriotism says: we are strong enough, proud enough, confident enough to welcome others in. To share our values — values of fairness, decency, tolerance — the values that have always made Britain worth being proud of.When you turn the flag into a weapon, you betray it. You betray our history. You betray the very idea of Britain.Because the truth is this: our flag should say we belong together. Not you stay out.

Re: Patriotism
So if Villa ignored the advice and 50 Israelis were attacked & killed by locals what would Villa’s legal position be?
Personally all this could be avoided if teams that aren’t European like the Israeli’s weren’t competing in a competition for European clubs

Don't have to ignore it, just don't have to always act on it as I see no grounds to ban their fans whilst allowing Villa fans in. That's discrimination.

Villa shouldn't be able to pick and choose what away fans they want to attend.
It was wrong of them to ban the Maccabi Tel Aviv fans, and it was also wrong of them to ban the Legia Warsaw fans seeing as that's been brought up.

Of course there would be, due to the conscription set up in the country - I don’t think that should be a factor at all.
Also think there’ll be news stories from one side or the other that have distorted what actually happened.
From what I’ve seen/read though, there appeared to have been plenty amongst them completely up for stuff (and more), that in years gone past would’ve seen sanctions from UEFA without an eyelid being batted.
We’ve got Starmer and Badenoch right behind draconian laws putting people inside for years, because of something written on social media or a placard, a few months later championing the rights of another lot to swan around singing songs celebrating the death of kids?
Plenty of videos doing the rounds last month with Villa fans having a tear up in Rotterdam, assume they have a ban on away support incoming.

No. That's false. Much as I don't think she is any good, Badenoch does not have a history of supporting this stuff. It's Starmer and Hermer who are the culprits here, not her.

If that had been a club from the Balkans, who’d been in Amsterdam those two nights, a significant number looking for fights, attacking a taxi driver, trying to break into properties and singing songs celebrating the death of kids etc etc, and then a British club stopped their attendance, nobody would be batting an eyelid. UEFA themselves might well have placed sanctions on them, and given UEFAs stance over many years, involving a lot of clubs, including British for far less, that would’ve been par for the course.
Villa stopped Legia Warsaw fans from entering the away end en masse. Where was that in the news?
Starmer is right behind putting people inside for some nasty words on social media, or even on the other side of the political spectrum having 80 year olds arrested for something written on a placard, but at the same time in uproar that their fans can’t have the opportunity to do all the above again in a UK city?
They acted like cunts and have been treated the same way as dozens of clubs have been dealt with for decades. They were met with Pro Palestine supporters though weren't they? Plenty of news reports have clearly stated they started on the Macabi fans first.
There was some pro-palestine tosser calling for a ban and stirring up shit in the weeks before.
Ajax gave him some cosmic realignment days before the game.
On the eve of the game the taxi drivers could well have initiated something, got turned over, which then led to the " jew hunt" whatsapp groups.

Re: Patriotism
Let's face it the Israeli fans aren't being banned for their protection. The police could quite easily facilitate their safe transport to and from Villa Park.
They've been banned so that images of the "locals" in masks running a pogrom don't end up all over social media.
It's not about the Israelis it's about covering how badlygovernment has fucked the country.
