Patriotism
A flag should be about pride. About unity. About celebrating who we are. That’s not what’s happening right now. These England flags going up everywhere? That’s not patriotism. That’s marking territory. That’s sending a message. And the message is ugly: “This is ours. You don’t belong here.”That isn’t pride. That’s fear. That’s exclusion. That’s racism dressed up as tradition.Real patriotism doesn’t slam the door in someone’s face. Real patriotism says: we are strong enough, proud enough, confident enough to welcome others in. To share our values — values of fairness, decency, tolerance — the values that have always made Britain worth being proud of.When you turn the flag into a weapon, you betray it. You betray our history. You betray the very idea of Britain.Because the truth is this: our flag should say we belong together. Not you stay out.

No countries that aren’t in Europe should be in UEFA competitions
Of course Kazakhstan is PARTIALLY in Europe so maybe clubs from that part could compete
European competition would be much better if clubs didn’t have to fly all the way to Asia to play in ‘Europe’
I see 700 extra police are being deployed for this match so presumably the Safety Advisory body are satisfied about the safety of the event
And several thousand locals are expected to turn up and protest against the presence of Genocide United
If Maccabi were the problem and they're not there who are all these police there for...

I'll now be very surprised this doesn't escalate and becomes a huge story that could have been avoided had they not pandered to the Muslim community, rather than focus their attentions on the Maccabi bogeyman.
As for the game itself, it's now rendered completely irrelevant with how they've moronically dealt with all this. The more trouble they cause the better. Hope they go on a rampage.
It'll be a bit of a bloodletting as they clearly want it and we have had enough of it so it's got all the right ingredients to kick right off. Old Bill know it too otherwise they wouldn't draft in close to a thousand bobbies to try and keep it all at bay. Could work but if not, this is all on the weak Leaders down the years that has led us all to this point. I hope they get a proper hiding too the cowardly stabby shitcunts....

As I said days ago, Maccabi weren't banned for their safety as that was relatively easy if not cheap to arrange, they were banned because of corbin and the MP stirring shit ensuring the "locals" would be out making cunts of themselves pogromming brummienacht and dead jews on Birmingham streets kills the harmless immigrant narrative which is basically on life support at this point.

So all this trouble is still expected with a monster Police presence as well as Schools in rhe area closing early for their safety even though Villa have already long ago banned Maccabis fans from attending.

Nor is Armenia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Georgia so we can ban them as well? Or just the Jews you have an issue with?

Re: Patriotism
Obviously Australia shouldn’t be in a European ‘song’ contest
Hope it doesn’t spoil your Eurovision party
Israel still isn’t in Europe. Their problems with their region is nothing to do with European teams
Just like Welsh teams shouldn’t be in an English league
Or the desperate teams (New Rangers & Paedo Celtic) from Scotland obviously

Last time I looked at a map, neither is Australia.
Doesn't appear to be a barrier to them taking part in the gay-fest that is Eurovision though

Israel is a member of UEFA because other (Muslim) members of the AFC kicked out founder member Israel, basically for being mostly Jewish.
You seem to be holding Israel and Israelis to different, higher, standards of behaviour than other people. But you couldn't possibly be doing that because it would be, well, anti-Semitic, wouldn't it?

Re: Patriotism
Novel idea...
How about we ban and fuck off Terrorists (40,000+ on a watchlist) instead of Football fans travelling to watch their Team play legally from another Country?
As for the Ajax match (it took 2 to tango), that is used as a convenient excuse to apparently ban Israelis from England when that fixture happened exactly a year ago. But now they ban them under gormless advise now. What a coincidence... Funny that.

Re: Patriotism
Israel isn’t in Europe
The Champions League is a European competition
Perhaps Qatar & Saudi should have teams in it?
I suspect UEFA would be in favour
Yes the Israeli’s may cause trouble as they did at Ajax
I also suspect the fact that Birmingham may have some people (not necessarily Villa fans) who have sympathies with Palestinians and want to take the opportunity to attack Jewish people
I imagine the Safety Advisory body considered both those possibilities
The UK government is obviously keen to keep Israel onside so will provide extra resources to police the game & satisfy the Advisory Body that their concerns are met & they can change their advice

Re: Patriotism
Villa have a Jewish Supporters Club.
None of them have ever been murdered. What a weird thing to dream up.
Christian Villa fans are more likely to be murdered by "locals" (by which we mean Muslims) than Jewish ones.
If any away fans got hurt it killed, it would be as a result of them kicking off (and this lot do, regularly), not because they're Jewish or even Israeli.

Personally all this could be avoided if teams that aren’t European like the Israeli’s weren’t competing in a competition for European clubs
Comes across bit nazi that mate!
On the one hand the loony left don't want the Jews in Palestinian as classed as European invaders and the other souldnt be allowed in Europe football competitions because tthey ain't European

50 football fans are killed due to their religion in the UK, and your main concern is what Villa's legal position would be?
