As for the Ajax match (it took 2 to tango), that is used as a convenient excuse to apparently ban Israelis from England when that fixture happened exactly a year ago. But now they ban them under gormless advise now. What a coincidence... Funny that.

I also suspect the fact that Birmingham may have some people (not necessarily Villa fans) who have sympathies with Palestinians and want to take the opportunity to attack Jewish people 
I imagine the Safety Advisory body considered both those possibilities 
The UK government is obviously keen to keep Israel onside so will provide extra resources to police the game & satisfy the Advisory Body that their concerns are met & they can change their advice

It was wrong of them to ban the Maccabi Tel Aviv fans, and it was also wrong of them to ban the Legia Warsaw fans seeing as that's been brought up.

CS, I can well imagine that being the case, that there would’ve been pro-Palestine agitators riling them from the off. And also don’t understand the stuff below about ex-IDF or current IDF being with them. Of course there would be, due to the conscription set up in the country - I don’t think that should be a factor at all.

Also think there’ll be news stories from one side or the other that have distorted what actually happened. 

From what I’ve seen/read though, there appeared to have been plenty amongst them completely up for stuff (and more), that in years gone past would’ve seen sanctions from UEFA without an eyelid being batted.

No. That's false. Much as I don't think she is any good, Badenoch does not have a history of supporting this stuff. It's Starmer and Hermer who are the culprits here, not her.
