How important could the weekends away win at Broomhill turn out to be?

Just seven points off that magical 6th position, as we enter the business end of the season.

Not many would’ve predicted that a few months back.

Mex, I’ve done a bit more digging and turns out that he’s out on loan to Johnstone Burgh.

Only 8 appearances, a goal in his penultimate appearance, a MOTM award and now out on loan.

All very strange

He got a man of the match award as well. Maybe he's injurged.

He hasn’t played since October. Strange, as in his penultimate game playing he scored away at Gretna.

Tiwi Daramola putting the away side ahead.

Again a name that emphasises the gulf in class. Where have East Kilbride got their money from?

Something just doesn’t sit right.

Re: The Official Cowdenbeath 2023-24 Season Thread - Scottish Lowland Football League
And I never knew this before tonight.

West Ham’s first ever league goal was scored by James Moyes, originally from Cowdenbeath.

Re: The Official Cowdenbeath 2023-24 Season Thread - Scottish Lowland Football League
Still got two games in hand though, and on current league form, it's got to be doable.

I just hope they don't secure a top half finish and are already on the beaches before the seasons ended, therefore denying that possible 6th slot.

Re: The Official Cowdenbeath 2023-24 Season Thread - Scottish Lowland Football League
Top 6 is still possible, but looking unlikely now. Need to start converting all those draws to wins.

There’s always next week, and back to the bread and butter of the league.

I think you predicted a top 6 finish months ago?

It’s still possible.

0~2 down against East Kilbride.

Well that’s that then. The end of another fantastic cup run.

I wonder if any former members of The Jesus and Mary Chain are in attendance?

Re: The Official Cowdenbeath 2023-24 Season Thread - Scottish Lowland Football League
It’s the FIFTH round of the highly prestigious South Challenge Cup, and if it’s not bad enough that it won’t be on the vidi~printer, the usual source of updates, reads “Match score only reads at FT”.

Fucking WOKE.
