*Rochdale are massive"..... Our song?

We have history of starting some classic football tunes.
The Di Canio and Payet songs for starters.
Heard the "Tottenham get battered / West Ham are massive" song (insert team) during at least one other game on MOTD last night, and just heard *Rochdale are massive..." during their televised cup win.
Is it originally our song, do us cockneys therefore excel at football chants with our self deprecating humour and gallows banter?

One of my MATES played for Rochdale in the 90's... got signed (from MLS) aged mid 20's IIRC... done Ok and then took a back hander and a big insurance pay out on a phantom knee injury... saw him play Colchester and rip Gus CAESAR a new one

Did they use a time machine then, given that I distinctly remember doing the Nigel-Reo Conga thing at Cardiff for the 2005 PO final, yet Zakora signed for tottenham in 2006?

There is no way Spurs were singing the Zokora song before we were Reo-Coker. He joined in August 2006. Reo-Coker joined us in January 2004 and left us in July 2007. The last year we thought he was a cunt.

Does it matter who came up with them? the fact is when we've sung these things they've been well suited to us at the time. I mean the Payet song was only really true about him the rest were shit players that they tried to apply that song to. At times Payet was the only player that could even get considered to be better than Zidane.......

We copied the Reo-Coker song from Spurs who had it for Didier Zokora.
