Re: Ludo dealing with cancer and at the game today

Love Ludo (obvs).

Brave decision and one I think I would make if I was in his position.

I’m sure he will get a great reception today with many renditions of ‘Big boy…’

Just hope that the boys on the pitch give him something to feel happy about and I’ve got a feeling they will!

Moyes to replace Glasner at Palace?
YES PLEASE
LOL, wouldn't that be great!

Love how Palace have fucked up... on a roll at the end of last season, sell their best players and now they're shit, who would have thought it!

Re: Americas Cup sailing

Who'd have thought it 4-2 after today with GB winning both races... NZ made bad mistake in pre-start of first race and were out of sight and second race was very close with GB winning by 6 secs.

4-0, despite having the upper hand at the start.... doesn't look as though you are going to see any racing next Sunday Mex!

Re: Americas Cup sailing

Not looking good is it?

Next race is crucial, go 4-0 down and I can't see anyway back.

Upwind boat speed seems to be lacking and we could do with winning a start, only then will it be clear how we stand on boat speed. If we can get to the windward mark first I think we could ease away downwind...

Re: The International Break

Have the internationals if they need to but just don't have a break... league matches carry on regardless. If Man City feel the need to have 25 internationals on their books then fuck em, might sharpen the mind and might give some youngsters an opportunity. Only change is that you wouldn't play all ...

Re: Lopetegui

With the benefit of hindsight several of our summer signings are looking dubious. We aren't really in the position to take a punt on a £20m Brazilian wonderkid, especially when we already have decent players in his position and have a limited budget. The two midfielders that we ended up with, Rodrig...

between him n Ange for first prem sacking of the season Ange Will be gone by the end of the season, My feeling is that Dyche will survive. For me cone head at Man unt will be the first gone. Just a question of when they can find a replacement. Southgate hopefully... that would be soooo funny.

Would be an absolute win win if they sack Dyche, appoint Moyes and he takes them down... the stuff dreams are made of.

Haven't seen any of the Liverpool v Forest game but interesting that JWP played the full 90mins.

I was glad to see him go as thought that he added very little to us but will be interesting to see how he gets on there.

Re: Fulham vs. West Ham United 14 September - team and score predictions

Any idea how much professional footballers get paid to represent their country? Guido flew all the way to S. America to sit on the bench for two matches without getting on the pitch. At least he won’t be worn out but all of that travelling is hardly ideal.  At least Alvarez stayed here (I believe) s...

stubbo and the others have done a great job. Very painless to the user anyway. Well done all.

I do miss the old site though. It was very very simple, which is why I liked it.

For a 'modern' site this isn't too bad, definitely seen a lot worse but like all new things takes some getting used to.

Re: Will we develop Rush Green ?

I can't remember a player or coach (past or present) ever saying that our facilities are shit or giving any impression that they have made any difference to anything. In fact last season we were bottom of the days lost to injuries league so perhaps it doesn't make any difference in the overall schem...

Re: 2020 Movies (now including 2021 and 2022)

I was on a high speed cross channel ferry about 5-6 years ago (Poole to Cherbourg I think) and Hugh Grant (and his very attractive companion) got on and sat a couple of rows in front.  He was left to his own devises, very refreshingly not one person 'bothered him' and he made no effort to hide away,...

Re: Kudus - what's his best position?

Noticed Bowen and Kudus swapping over during the City game too but thought that Bowen was far more effective on the right. Kudus is so good he can play anywhere (though annoying for him if he prefers the right). Hopefully Summerville will become equally as effective once he has settled in... the tho...
