Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"As a 'golden oldie' who had never heard of the manager nor any of the players he has brought in should I feel excited, sombre or pissed off at the start of the new season? Genuine question and which players are going to excite us?"

"A clear and obvious mistake which in all probability the ref himself has realised he made. Allow 20 seconds maximum, after all the ref makes his judgement on the spot it shouldn't take a room full of 'experts' and a machine longer than that."

Re: The summer transfer window thread
"In answer to the question raised, namely what has to be done? We have an expert in Steidten now and a new manager they should have full responsibility for all transfer activity, Sullivan should stay well clear other than paying the bills."

"Don't understand why sullivan doesn't seize the opportunity to give some youngsters plus one or two squad players who seldom play a game. Simply put moyes on garden leave and let Noble and Steidten manage the squad, moyes after all has now completely lost it."

"The Steidten 'ban' tells us more about sullivan than it does moyes. Wasn't he brought in as an expert who would help guide us to a great and glorious future? moyes fell out with him over transfers now seeks to ban him from talking to the players and where is sullivan in all of this, what a pathetic...

If he has fully recovered it would be good to see Earthy given a start plus one or two other youngsters. As it is I expect to see the Chelsea youngsters give our oldies the runaround!

"Liverpool out of Europe, almost certainly out of Title race, lose to Everton are surely there for the taking if we play an attacking game! Re: Moyes Out
Sir Alf = trouble is Steidten could bring in the very best but if we haven't got rid of moyes either he won't play them or he will play them out of position. We are going nowhere whilst moyes is still around!

"We can't start as we did Thursday for reasons clearly demonstrated, namely we will be knackered by half time and have a bench devoid of players who can make a difference. Of course if we got 3/4 up in the first half we ought to be able to hang on to that lead!! ."

"Great performance in the first half deserved to be more than one ahead. The second half demonstrated clearly one of the main reasons moyes must go. Alonso made five substitutions each one strengthened the team, moyes did not have a single player on the bench who would have strengthened our side. No...

"Strange tactics from Pep last night. He has two of the best scorers in the premiership from long range, De Bruyne and Foden yet all night they simply passed the ball across the face of the goal.
